Description

We have Snowmass Alpacas to thank for the exceptional pedigree of this extraordinary young herdsire. His rich brown fiber has a long staple length with "vicuna fineness and uniformity, yet added crimp and density." He is strong, stout, and perfect in his balance and conformation. Wow, dark color, long staple length, fiber fineness, density, and strong bone all in one package! No wonder that Crimson was described by Julie Skinner as their "Number ONE 2002 Andean Bronze son". The Great Midwest Alpaca Fest was our only opportunity to show Crimson before he went into service, and we were delighted with the result! Before awarding him the blue ribbon and Reserve Color Champion, Judge Kristin Buhrmann described his fiber as "uniformly fine, bright, and dense."
