This is the first cria born on our farm in 2009. We picked out his mom, Cimarron Shadow, who was bred to MFI Toledo. Boy did we hit the jackpot. This boy has coverage from his eyes to his toes. Granite has sure grown into a wonderful boy. He has beautiful grey fleece that is very crimpy with good staple length. He has complete coverage from his eyes to his toes. While his daughter, Crimson, takes 1st and Color Champion at 17 months old! 1-2016 Granite's Daughter Crimson took her 2nd Color Champion at The National Western Stock Show 2-12-16 Granite's daughter, Eve, took Color Champion at TXOLAN! 2-27-16 His beautiful daughter Crimson has passed away. 2-25-17 Another Granite daughter with a banner, Phoenix took RC at TXOLAN. she is a full sibling to Crimson. 5-2017 Dancing Elk's Isabella ( a Granite daughter) took 1st place out of 11 in juvie black females at GWAS. An amazing feat! 9-25-2017. This gorgeous male continues to produce beautiful Cria. Not only is this male awesome, the market is not saturated with his genetics. His daughter Mystique took 4th in Halter. TXOLAN 2018 Granite took 2nd in GET OF SIRE and beat whites! Argenta Granite’s Phoenix and Argenta Granite’s Storm Cloud along with WHA Nathan got him this award! May 30th,2018 Even as Grante is about to turn 9 he is still a very handsome fellow. Rhapsody is a large silver grey daughter of the infamous Aussie Rockford. Great mom with plenty of milk and delivers easily. Great foundation female. At 18 months, she was a whopping 150 lbs, with crimpy, fine dense fleece. She took a blue ribbon in yearling greys at the 2008 Heart of the Valley show, and third in a competitive class at the 2008 CABA show. Rhapsody has produced multiple ribbon winners, including an amazing harlequin boy, Shock and Awe, now at Tuscany Valley Alpacas. Rhapsody had a gorgeous little boy on April 25, 2020. A bit small, but growing like a weed on mom's rich milk. Dad is Grand River Marquis, one of Bluebonnet Hills's fabulous grey boys. He looks light silver grey now, but his white face and bib are evident. What a change. This boy has turned into an indefinite light, with dark hairs sprinkled all over his body. Grey markings on his ears and eyes, and spots of grey. Rhapsody was bred to my new, highly spotted boy, Spellbound, hoping for a harlie. But bad luck struck, and she lost the little gray girl to a twisted umbilical cord. We will try again! Rhapsody deserves one last cria to mother.
