Snowmass Olympic Triumph

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Dark Silver Grey
AOA# 31795753DOB: 6/2/200915 yrs
We just purchased this boy from Snowmass. We are planning to integrate Triumph's genetics with Granite's. Snowmass Olympic Triumph has a tremendously buttery soft dense, silky long staple grey FANCY extraordinary colored fleece giving it a very unique handle. You should expect nothing but fine from this very fine fleece line both top and bottom and you can expect this to be HIGHLY heritable. His Dam, Snowmass Olympia, remains below 19 microns in her 12th year. Her Dam is the very same who at 11 years had an AFD of 15.9. Now add Matrix proven fine lineage and the match for GREY ELITE is set in this male for HUGE success! 10-8-2013. His first cria is here. She has lots of curly fleece! 6-7-2014 a gorgeous male cria for Triumph! 7-20-2014 a black male for Triumph! 2-2015. Triumph's first cria, Platinum, has hit the show ring. In his first show he took a 2nd Place! 7-6-2016 We Love this male. Easy going and gets the job done quickly. He is an all around great boy. His fleece is still fine at 7 years old. 10-27-16. Triumph had three beautiful cria for us this year. We are especially happy with his cria from our Granite daughter, Lyric. 1-2017 His daughter, Destini, took 1st Place at the NWSS! Destini's 2017 stats 19.8 SD 3.3 CV 16.7 >30 .9 2-25-2017 His son, Platinum, has gone to the east coast! 1-15-2018 Price reduced. Check out Triumph’s histogram! 2-4-2018 Currently his son Duncan is doing extremely well in the shows in halter, fleece and walking fleece. His 10 year old stats! AFD 21 SD 4.9 CV 23.2 >30 5

Dam: Argenta Granite's Lyric

Great mom with awesome grey genetics

Argenta Granite's Lyric

HuacayaOpen (Female)Light Fawn
AOA# 32304787DOB: 7/9/201311 yrs
So excited to get this girl. A beautiful medium fawn alpaca out of two silver grey parents. She has a great presence and her fleece is awesome! Lyric's dam is an Aussie Rockford daughter. Her sire, Argenta Granite, a 3X Grey Champion, has both Acero Mark's Mr. Know it All and PPPeruvian Yupanqui 6018. Her full brother is a gorgeous harlequin grey, Shock and Awe. During a whole herd evaluation at her birth farm, Sara Jane MacClennan, AOA Certified Judge, rated Lyric's fleece highly on Handle/fineness, staple length, brightness and uniformity. Lyric's first cria was a beautiful fawn boy, with stats of AFD 16.0 SD 3.4 CV 21.4 >30 .7. We had an Ooops with the vet and missed her cria in a late ultrasound, resulting in a beautiful, but early, little grey girl. Melody is up and going strong now, and sweet as can be. Lost my Lyric this year. Posting is for reference.

Service Sire: Estates Spellbound

US Steel/Aussie .38 bloodlines!

Estates Spellbound

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Light Rose Grey, Medium Rose Grey, Dark Rose Grey
AOA# 35423997DOB: 9/17/201410 yrs
So excited to get this guy and see what he can produce with my highly spotted grey girls. Possibly a harlie? Spellbound's sire is 3x Futurity Herdsire of the Year, NeverSummer's US Steel, who passes on brightness, fineness and soft silky handle to his offspring. His paternal grandsire is none other than 15x Champion and 2x Judges' Choice winner, Aussie .38 Special! His maternal grandsire is NeverSummer's Spellbound, a super dense, typey, deep maroon Silver Charm son. NeverSummer's Spellbound was a SWRAS Color Champion and a 2nd Place Futurity winner. His fleece had a lovely, soft handle and everyone who put their hands on him would comment on it. Estates Spellbound is a proven male with two cria on the ground in 2019. His first cria was a lovely true black female out of a black mom. His second cria was a beautiful medium silver grey female out of a grey mom. I bred him to my Rockford daughter in 2021, and had a confirmed pregnancy, but unfortunately, the little grey female cria aborted with a severely twisted umbilical cord at 8.5 months. As I am retiring from breeding, this guy needs a new job. He has a very easy going personality and is easy to handle.

Description

What an absolutely darling girl. She had a rough start in life, but what a fighter. Now, she is unstoppable. So precocious. Tries to slip out behind my back every time the gate is open. I didn't think she would grow to be as big as her mom (170 lbs), but not sure anymore. Classic medium rose grey, with a splotchy coat and big black eyes on her white face. Her spots and variation come from her inherited genes for harlequin/appaloosa. Mom is a Rockford grand-daughter who is a full sister to Shock and Awe, a gorgeous harlequin male. Melody was in her first show at TXOLAN, and placed a respectable 4th out of 8, which included girls from some large farms. Melody had a large cyst removed from her neck in spring 2020 (what a year!) but has had no lasting effects. Came home 3 days after surgery and hasn't slowed down a bit. Super friendly and easy to handle. Melody has been exposed to my new, highly spotted grey boy, Spellbound. Waiting for confirmation by ultrasound.
