The Alianza Prophecy

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)White
AOA# 1218527DOB: 6/23/200420 yrs
Almost every alpaca breeder knows the great Hemingway. Someday he will have a successor. Could this male be the one to fulfill The Alianza Prophecy? Come see him and decide for yourself, or check out the more than 35 offspring he has on the ground proving his value as a stud. Sire: Predictor is a Hemingway son. Equally important is his dam, Macarena, perhaps the best Peruvian import I have ever seen. Dam: PPP Dorsett is another wonderful old Peruvian import. Her line is notable for the similarity in micron between the primary and secondary fibers! This uniformity of fine micron within the staple and across the fleece is what makes alpaca comfortable against the skin - a true luxury fiber. Prophecy's fleece won the purple banner for Judge's Best at the ABWNY show, out of 80 fleeces entered! For more about Alianza bloodlines go to www.alianzaherdsires.com Several impressive Prophecy offspring can now be seen at Sixth Day. Prophecy on Bravado daughters is proving to be a "nick" resulting in elite fleeces and showy alpacas, but the Hemingway line crosses well with just about everything out there. Prophecy had skin biopsies evaluated by both Dr. Norm Evans and Dr. Jim Watts ====Follicles per sq. mm==S/P Ratio= Watts....... 39.8...............11.4 Evans....... 59.75 .............11.2 Prophecy's EPDs: Trait Value Acc AFD -0.91 0.46 SDAFD -0.32 0.477 SF -0.906 0.499 %F>30 -4.151 0.501 MC 0.251 0.449 SDMC 0.332 0.338 %M 0.25 0.397 MSL 2.94 0.379 FW 0.085 0.32 For more information about our full herd of outstanding alpacas please visit us at: www.sixthdayfarm.com

The focus at Sixth Day Farm has always been on developing a genetically predictable herd of alpacas with superior textile traits - alpacas that pay their way with the fiber they produce. As a working farm, showing and marketing have taken a back seat to alpaca care and genetic progress. This means that you will find tremendous value here for the price. Yes, we should have more recent photos... Come and see her for yourself! Saphire is a good-looking alpaca exhibiting all the hallmark's of quality: type, coverage, correct conformation, balanced proportions, and her fleece - fine, DENSE, exceptional staple length, with beautiful high-frequency 'zipper crimp'!!! Sire - At eleven years of age, Bravado is still one of the most impressive alpacas I have ever seen: handsome, proud, correct, with a beautiful head, abundant coverage, and his fleece! This combination of fineness and density is rarely seen. High-frequency 'zipper crimp'. Consistently siring crias with the fine, bright, soft-as-silk fiber that lives up to all the hype about alpaca fiber. PPP Salutation is the matriarch of one of our best female family lines. The overall qualiy is exceptional, with 'showy' crimp. Bravdo's Saphire is a full Alianza female. She is a half sister to CHAMPION Antonio's Alianza Salute, and a full sister to CHAMPION Bravado's Alianza Sailor. If you have seen either of those males, nothing else need be said. Previously, it had been decided that Sixth Day Farm could not afford to sell this girl at ANY price. Now being offered for the first time. Saphire's 2014 EPDs AFD -0.404 0.554 SDAFD -0.51 0.554 SF -0.569 0.625 %F>30 -1.815 0.627 MC 3.007 0.538 SDMC 1.011 0.572 %M -7.871 0.482 MSL 3.884 0.465 FW 0.661 0.374 Saphire is located at Sixth Day Farm East in Hilton, NY.

Description

In the current economy, you need value for your stud fee dollar. This young male has a power packed pedigree that predicts prepotency! Don't wait for his fee to go up - reserve your breedings in New York or Vermont. Pedigree - Everyone knows that Bueno and Hemingway are two of the most influential alpaca sires, ever. Both earned their reputation as prepotent sires of quality get, and both are recognized for the fineness of their offspring's fleeces - LASTING fineness! Equally important is the quality of the females in this pedigree: NWA,LTD Marcie, PPPeruvian Dorsett, PPPeruvian Salutation, and PPeruvian Macarena. Rarely do you see a pedigree where every animal in the pedigree is of high quality, with each animal contributing to the goal for which that animal was bred. Prospect has that pedigree - and shows every promise of being what he was bred to be: a prepotent sire of crias with true elite fleece characteristics. Prospect's histogram reflects the quality of his fleece. Co-owned with Suzanne Provost & David Benway of StoneGate Alpacas, Underhill, Vermont. Sixth Day Stellar Prospect is boarding at: StoneGate Alpacas in Underhill, VT Inquiry Instructions Contact either Suzanne Provost of StoneGate or Wayne Jarvis of Sixth Day Farm to arrange a breeding.
