El C's first cria is a MSG female....Phoebe Rose...OUTSTANDING!! El Camino Real has done it again! 1st. Place at MAPACA, April 27, 2007. The judge was very impressed, spoke of this 'up and coming' Herdsire and how exquisite he is, outstanding consistency in density, crimp, fineness, handle and structure of fiber, solid bone, gorgeous head, perfect bite and just an overall fantastic package. His name is El Camino Reál (Spanish for 'The Kings Highway'), he is a strong healthy Bay Black boy. He is the son of Dalia's Domingo (Magical Farm's Silvio son) and Reba (Mister Limerick Daughter). With a birth weight of 20.2 lbs., El Camino Reál has hit the open highway (pasture) running. He was shorn at Nationals and the shearer said El Camino Real had the best dark fleece he had seen in a very long time. (Picture of fiber, bottom right)We are awaiting Fiber stats and will post ASAP! His fiber is super fine with amazing, uniform crimp and great staple length as well as nice bundling and extreme density. He is very correct in conformation, with the proud stance like his sire, Domingo and his grand-sire MFI Silvio.
