Description

His cria have ranged from white to fawn to grey out of an assortment of white and colored females, providing that color gene from his dam's sire, the remarkable Camilio.
Commander is full Peruvian and 3/4 Accoyo, providing, we believe, the best of both worlds. Being full Peruvian provides the looks and fiber density to shine through while not limiting the breeding possibilites in full Accoyos. His Accoyo heritage brings in the wonderful fineness and crimp so prized by many breeders. Although fiber and conformation are some of the most important attributes of an alpaca, "curb appeal" is just as important when it comes time to market or show your animals. A full Peruvian mixed with Accoyo is the best possible combination for a herdsire in our opinion and with Commander you get it all -- looks, fiber and conformation!
