Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose (Sizzy) is a simply divine light brown, male with extremely bright fleece, full of high-frequency high amplitude Mirco bundles, as well as carrying a very dense fleece with an amazing handle. Several of the top Judges have called him "The Total Package." With him being an exceptional twelve-time champion, including the 2012 AOBA National Alpaca Show Halter Color Champion & 2012 The Futurity Halter Color Champion. Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose has been breeding for us for several years now and we couldn't be more pleased with the amount of improvement he has made to our herd. In 2014, we consigned Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose to the 2014 Amber Autumn Auction (AAA) and he ended up selling for $90,000, making him the highest-selling Snowmass Matrix Rose offspring to date. He was sold to Daryl and Shirley Krause of Amber Autumn Alpacas in Oregon. A year later we ended up acquiring half ownership of Sizzy with both of us, Amber Autumn Alpacas and Red Granite Ranch, closing Sizzy to all outside breedings. Though his offspring will be offered at both ranches and depending on the year, some outside breedings may be offered. Crescent Moon's Chelliza is by FIR Cove Cisco Kid and out of Crescent Moon's Chellina, who is a Crescent Moon's Kryptonite daughter. This girl is loaded with incredible BLACK genetics. She is maintaining her fineness. In 2021 at 8 years, 11 months, and 3 days her fleece tested at 24.5 microns with a 5.7 SD. Those are pretty amazing numbers for an 8 year old but as a BLACK they are extremely good numbers. So far, Chelliza has blessed us with three amazing black daughters, all by different studs. Her 2014 daughter, Red Granites Chiloquin. Chiloquin is the dam of our 14-time champion male, Red Granites MR Coranado. Her 2017 daughter, RGR Celebration By MR Sizlin Rose (Bay Black) sold to Sundancer Alpacas in 2019! Her 2019 daughter, Red Granites Chesapeake By Tennyson (True Black) ranks in the Top 1% in mean staple length in the 2021 EPDs. Her staple length is extremely impressive for being a black.

Red Granites Aragon is one of the finest highest curve fawn fleeced stud males in our breeding program. He has routinely stayed in a the limits of the Royal Alpaca fleece stats, even as a breeding male with crias on ground. He is our main goal as a huacaya breeder, lasting fineness with density. His line lineage is quite unique with a Fawn Sire: CCNF Legionnaire, a son of Snowmass Matrix Majesty who is now deceased. His Dam is one of our finest .38 Special daughters, Crescent Moon's Anna Lucia, who has produced multiple Futurity & National Champions in an array of dark-colors. Aragon is by far her best son produced thus far. Red Granites Aragon is a striking medium fawn, award-winning male. He has a very beautiful fleece. Aragon carries an extremely soft fine, yet very dense fleece, with amazing brightness to add on. He carries a full fleece body of high-frequency low amplitude fleece with small individual little bundles throughout, and is very consistent throughout the body. He has carried a Grade 0 fleece since is first shearing, which is amazing considering he is now a 5 year old breeding male. We took Aragon to a few shows but didn't return until he was of mature age due to his extreme qualities. Aragon blossomed a little late into his show career. He wasn't on our showing list until fall of 2017 but never returned on our list till TXOLAN in 2018 where he was awarded a 2nd place and Reserve Color Champion. After that point, he was winning anything above 3rd places. At the National Western Stock Show in 2020 at 3 years of age, he was awarded the 2020 Grand Champion male, as a 3-year-old!! We then brought Aragon to the 2020 AOA National Show and he did not disappoint us! As a 42.8-month-old male, he came home with the Fawn AOA National Color Champion win. He has produced colors in all colors, championships winners and top show placers.
