We are now closing Legionnaire to outside breedings. With hi weight fluctuation and age we think it best to keep him in house. He has many sons working for us! To say we were excited to partner with Amber Autumn Alpacas with CCNF Legionnaire at the 2014 Breeders Edge Auction would be an understatement, a huge one. In a long run, Legionnaire went on to be the highest selling alpaca at the auction (we bought him for $57,500), figures considering this guys genetics. This spectacular young male was the 2015 Futurity Fawn Male Color Champion & 2015 AOA National Fawn Male Reserve Champion!! Two of the most prestigious shows in the alpaca industry and he took home purple. Ending his show career with four Judges' Choice awards and nine Championship awards. By one of the world’s great sires, out of a female from a sensational family line who has made a huge impact on the United States industry, here we have a male bred on a cross that has been proven to produce champions. CCNF Legionnaire, a son of Snowmass Matirx Majesty, has enjoyed extraordinary success as a sire with championship winners in both the United States and Canada and his offspring being found in Poland, United States, Canada, and Australia. Overall, his offspring have won many championships and even Judges’ Choice and National Championship titles. Even more impressive, his son Red Granites Pallaton (Now resides in Poland) won the 2018 Canadian Supreme Champion Male award, Palltons offspring have had much success in the Canadian show rings themselves. Another son by Legionnaire, Red Granites Man of Mystery (Owned by Willow Wind Farm Alpacas) is the densest alpaca yet biopsied by Ian Watt in the USA, and we have not yet heard of a denser alpaca out there a at a whopping 127.2 follicles/square mm density. His daughter, Red Granites Pixie was sold at the 2018 Amber Autumn Auction for a pretty penny, where she was purchased by EP Cambridge Alpaca Stud in Australia. Combining Cas-Cad-Nac's powerhouse production female; CCNF Magdalena and Snowmass Matrix Majesty you would only hope for an advanced fleece, Legionnaire carries a extremely advanced fleece. He carried a six year old fleece with a AFD of 17.3 and SD of 2.5, SIMPLY UNREAL numbers for a six year old BREEDING male. Description

Red Granites Aragon is one of the finest highest curve fawn fleeced stud males in our breeding program. He has routinely stayed in a the limits of the Royal Alpaca fleece stats, even as a breeding male with crias on ground. He is our main goal as a huacaya breeder, lasting fineness with density. His line lineage is quite unique with a Fawn Sire: CCNF Legionnaire, a son of Snowmass Matrix Majesty who is now deceased. His Dam is one of our finest .38 Special daughters, Crescent Moon's Anna Lucia, who has produced multiple Futurity & National Champions in an array of dark-colors. Aragon is by far her best son produced thus far. Red Granites Aragon is a striking medium fawn, award-winning male. He has a very beautiful fleece. Aragon carries an extremely soft fine, yet very dense fleece, with amazing brightness to add on. He carries a full fleece body of high-frequency low amplitude fleece with small individual little bundles throughout, and is very consistent throughout the body. He has carried a Grade 0 fleece since is first shearing, which is amazing considering he is now a 5 year old breeding male. We took Aragon to a few shows but didn't return until he was of mature age due to his extreme qualities. Aragon blossomed a little late into his show career. He wasn't on our showing list until fall of 2017 but never returned on our list till TXOLAN in 2018 where he was awarded a 2nd place and Reserve Color Champion. After that point, he was winning anything above 3rd places. At the National Western Stock Show in 2020 at 3 years of age, he was awarded the 2020 Grand Champion male, as a 3-year-old!! We then brought Aragon to the 2020 AOA National Show and he did not disappoint us! As a 42.8-month-old male, he came home with the Fawn AOA National Color Champion win. He has produced colors in all colors, championships winners and top show placers.
