BIG TIMBER'S QUEBRACHO

SuriHerdsire (Male)Light Fawn
AOA# 35113270DOB: 8/1/20159 yrs
We are excited to announce that Big Timber Quebracho is back on the farm. We had the opportunity to purchase this male back and we didn't hesitate! Judge Choice and 2X Champion --Quebracho comes from the highest quality champion genetics. His multi-champion stud female line includes the best: Arizona Sage, Accoyo Starcrossed, Eleuteria and Accoyo Harmony. His sire, SBS Stardust, is a multi-champion, with all-star genetics behind him as well. Lingering fineness is a hallmark of his genetic pool coming from his dam side. Look at the color genetics behind this male. He throws great color in his crias when bred to color, along with his lingering fineness, luster and density. When bred to white, he has also produced beautiful white crias who excelled in the show ring. Quebracho has produced multiple champion offspring. Quebracho is a strong, well balanced true to type male. His fleece shimmers with luster on the inside and outside and his highly aligned, dense, fine locks are absolutely stunning. No wonder when you see his biopsy and histogram results. His biopsy results are the tops: 68.75 follicles SQ/MM, 14.5 to 1 for S/P Ratio, 10.8 micron variation between secondaries and primaries, a very low 20% secondary fiber medullation & 4 out of 4 gland presence. His 2017 biopsy AFD equates to 20.04 micron. His glandular infrastructure accounts for his high level of luster and his low medullation is associated with excellent handle. This is a highly heritable trait. In 2017, Quebracho was evaluated by Cheryl Gehly of the Suri Network Suri Herd Improvement Program (SHIP) and received top scores (1-5 with 5 being the highest score possible). He scored 5s on all conformation traits and 4's and 5's on his fleece traits. Quebracho's quantitative data supports his position as a top ranking herdsire in the country. Let the data and his champion offspring speak for the high quality of this fabulous herdsire.

Dam: Goldyn Rae's Seda

Stunning Kahuna Lexus Daughter!

Goldyn Rae's Seda

SuriOpen (Female)White
AOA# 35222842DOB: 9/7/20168 yrs
We are downsizing our herd; Seda is one of our very best; a Kahuna Lexus daughter!!! She was bred to Big Timber Josef's Simeon and an ultrasound on January 5/2025 indicated there was fluid present in the uterus, but the vet didn't see the fetus. We need to wait and see! She would be due on September 28, 2025 if PG. Goldyn Rae's Seda is a genetic powerhouse with outstanding fleece bringing the genetics of the unparalleled breeding program of Pucara Alpacas. Seda was a September baby and wasn't quite ready for the show ring. Her fleece is beautiful and fine, however, with 19.5 micron and 1% > 30 in 2018; the most recent test by SGS in September 2021 reflected an AFD of 24.9 at nearly six years of age. Dam Emilia is a granddaughter of BOTH Macgyver AND Kahuna who boasts not one, but TWO Herdsires of the year as her grandsires. Out of the Pucara breeding program, she is a daughter of LCA Huckleberry de Latah, the 2012 DARK FUTURITY HERDSIRE OF THE YEAR! Her royal lineage is obvious through her offspring, where she consistently throws solid light or white cria with fine, lustrous fleece. Seda's sire is Kahuna son Pucara PureSuri Kahuna's Lexus. Lexus' fleece grew out with exceptional density. His combined fineness, luster and independent locking exhibits his royal lineage. Sired by none other than the five times Futurity Light Herdsire of the Year Pucara Kahuna, he displays a supreme Suri phenotype. She was bred to none other than multi-champion, Mont Alejandro, of Goldyn Rae Alpacas for a Summer 2019 (born August 3rd) cria. This male cria was named Bright Star and he had a 2nd year AFD today of 19 microns. Seda was a perfect new mom, carrying and delivering with ease, and such a nurturing mom with great milk. What we all hope for, yes?? She was bred back to our Big Timber's Quebracho and we got a home run! Seda birthed a stunning white female that we named Hannah on September 12, 2020. She became an addition to our foundation herd! Seda was bred back to Quebracho for a summer 2022 cria and ANOTHER girl that named Samara; she was sold in 2023 to Roy Anderson and Stacie Forshee! She has been bred to Big Timber Kahuna's Josef; not confirmed by U/S. Due 08/15/2024.

Description

This girl has the most fabulous suri fiber around! Definitely show quality! She is being sold as a non-breeder due to a serious overbite. Beyond that, Sammy is a sweet, inquisitive female with many great fiber producing years ahead of her.
