Co-owned with Jack and Kelly Armstrong of PureSuri Breeding Company Here is another stunning example of the cross between PureSuri and Pucara. PureSuri herd is the best example we can give of a superb breeding philosophy. The Armstrongs, formerly Latah Creek, dominated the suri show ring with, amongst others, their Inca line white suris and it was artistry in the making when we combined the lines of Latah Creek with those of Pucara Kahuna. Lexus was at the top of the class in our 2013 drop. He has grown out with exceptional density combined with fineness and who we have used extensively since spending his 2015 breeding season in Colorado at Goldyn Rae Alpacas. The production there verified our hopes for him to produce to the excellence of his line! He shows off a stunning head on a well conformed frame but its the fleece that spanks of his royal lineage. It is exactly what we breed for. High luster, in fact luster to burn! It is fine and dense and displays nice independence of locking with that buttery greasy handle that we love to see in our program. In March 2014 he tested at 18.6m 3.9sd 20.9cv Sired by none other than the five times Futurity Light Herdsire of the Year Pucara Kahuna, his mother also comes from immaculate lineage. PureSuri Lexus is a daughter of one of the densest males we have ever seen, LCA Viho (Inca son) and her dam is a Snowmass Ice Dancer daughter that is infused with the superior genetics of Uribe and Ganador. We have been stoked with the production from Lexus. We were offering him for sale but we don't think so any more! The cria have had blazing luster with density that is so hard to achieve. He has taken a very important place in our ET program. We are of course selling breedings. He will compliment your suri program with all the suri fleece traits that we admire.

Simeon is something very special. His multi-champion genetics from his sire, Big Timber Kahuna's Josef and dam, HHFS Belleza are tops in the Suri industry, including Kahuna, Armani, Baron Lafite, Eleuteria and Luna. His champion dam, Belleza, is half-sister to Elecrofyre. Simeon placed second as a 6-month-old in a very competitive white juvenile class at the 2022 Futurity Show. The Futurity judge comments highlighted his very fine fleece in a beautiful flat lock structure with extreme luster. He won Color Champion at a competitive 2022 RMAS show as a shorn yearling. Simeon also won Reserve Invited Champion as a shorn yearling at the 2023 AOA National Halter Show and Reserve Champion at the 2023 CABA Classic Show. Simeon won Reserve Champion for Grade 1 fleeces at the 2022 AOA Innovative Fleece Assessment Show and at the 2022 ABR Fall Fleece Show with his high luster, uniformity and fineness. In 2022, Simeon won four Advanced Fleece Awards in fleece shows across the country with scores of 83.5, 82.5, 81 and 80.5. Simeon's uniformity scores in his fleece shows were almost perfect. His fleece is truly amazing!! Simeon is in the top 1% in the 2023 EPDs, reflecting his truly amazing fiber traits. Dr. Norm Evans performed a biopsy on Simeon in July 2024. His follicle density is 58 with fiber clusters uniform in shape and placement. His secondary/primary fiber spread is only 5.5 microns with secondaries measuring 19.4 and primaries measuring 28.2. His secondary to primary ratio is 12.7 to 1 and he has 3 of 4 gland structure. Outstanding fiber traits in all categories!! Simeon is another stunning Josef son in all respects!

We are downsizing our herd; Seda is one of our very best; a Kahuna Lexus daughter!!! She was bred to Big Timber Josef's Simeon and an ultrasound on January 5/2025 indicated there was fluid present in the uterus, but the vet didn't see the fetus. We need to wait and see! She would be due on September 28, 2025 if PG. Goldyn Rae's Seda is a genetic powerhouse with outstanding fleece bringing the genetics of the unparalleled breeding program of Pucara Alpacas. Seda was a September baby and wasn't quite ready for the show ring. Her fleece is beautiful and fine, however, with 19.5 micron and 1% > 30 in 2018; the most recent test by SGS in September 2021 reflected an AFD of 24.9 at nearly six years of age. Dam Emilia is a granddaughter of BOTH Macgyver AND Kahuna who boasts not one, but TWO Herdsires of the year as her grandsires. Out of the Pucara breeding program, she is a daughter of LCA Huckleberry de Latah, the 2012 DARK FUTURITY HERDSIRE OF THE YEAR! Her royal lineage is obvious through her offspring, where she consistently throws solid light or white cria with fine, lustrous fleece. Seda's sire is Kahuna son Pucara PureSuri Kahuna's Lexus. Lexus' fleece grew out with exceptional density. His combined fineness, luster and independent locking exhibits his royal lineage. She was bred to none other than multi-champion, Mont Alejandro, of Goldyn Rae Alpacas for a Summer 2019 (born August 3rd) cria. This male cria was named Bright Star and he had a 2nd year AFD today of 19 microns. Seda was a perfect new mom, carrying and delivering with ease, and such a nurturing mom with great milk. What we all hope for, yes?? She was bred back to our Big Timber's Quebracho and we got a home run! Seda birthed a stunning white female that we named Hannah on September 12, 2020. She became an addition to our foundation herd! Seda was bred back to Quebracho for a summer 2022 cria and ANOTHER girl that named Samara; she was sold in 2023 to Roy Anderson and Stacie Forshee!
