Color coat tested Ee aa - Magnetar is fabulous and he's creating beautiful offspring!!! Magnetar's first 2 offspring hit the ground in 2022 and they are incredible! -- 2 fawn females -- all out of white or light dams and all having rock solid conformation and promising fleece characteristics! I am so excited about his offspring, and jealous – lol – because most of them aren’t mine!! Several more arrived in 2023, and we're still happy! Zoom in on those pictures and look at those fleeces. Some are photos of day-old crias! Magnetar's fleece length is amazing along with all of his other stellar fleece characteristics — fineness and uniformity, just to name a few. We believe he'll be a rockstar in our herd! Magnetar’s color coat test came back from Neogen and his base coat phenotype is black. His color genotype is Ee aa. He can produce black! Chris Works had this to say about him: "So fine, such incredible structure and tertiary bundling, the phenotype that just says wow....And with his family tree, it is no wonder." Magnetar's 17 time Champion sire, KCF Isidoro, received his 6th Spirit of the Industry award at the 2019 PAOBA Fleece Showcase. The Work's were so proud to have him receive this award from Wini Lebrecque with such raving comments about his fineness and structure at the age of nearly 7! And of course what they really appreciate as breeders is Isidoro's ability to past his traits to his offspring, and frequently in living color!! Enter Magnetar! On the other side of Magnetar's ARI is an absolutely stellar dam, Stillmeadow Farms Majesty. This girl is a line bred Matrix Majesty rockstar that was just perfect for an out-cross to Isidoro's fleece style. Here at MMFA, we are certainly enamored of the Matrix Majesty line. We actually have three young males that have so impressed us...and with the purchase of Magnetar, we may still keep them all! Magnetar's show record reflects the fact that he was competing with CCNF Dominion over the vast majority of his show career, a true dominator in that color class. We had the opportunity to compare them side by side and we were super impressed with how very similar they were in fleece attributes. Also see Packages. Even though she has no ears (just kidding!)...Diamond is a gorgeous girl and she has proven to be a great dam with easy birthing, and plenty of milk. She also has a calm and gentle demeanor. At 2 years old, her fleece had a Spin Fineness of 17.0 microns, with lovely handle, brightness and uniformity just like her Judges Choice herdsire. At 6 years old, her AFD was still in the low 20's with a very good SD and CV -- excellent for her age and evidence of micron uniformity! Diamond has been bred to Man in the Moon’s Peruvian Cerberus, son of the AOA National Supreme Champion, Ganymede. Cerberus has a gorgeous fleece that is extremely fine and uniform. See his webpage. One of the many reasons we chose to breed Diamond to Cerberus is that she produced a gorgeous female offspring when bred to Cerberus’s sire, and there are a few things about Cerb’s genetics on his dam’s side that we really like. We think those genetics will be complimentary to hers. We can’t wait to see what they produce! Diamond's 2022 offspring, Lightning, was awarded the Reserve Championship at his first show, the 2023 Carolina Alpaca Parade at 8.3 months old!!! We didn't show him much before he was sold, but his fleece at one year old was looking good!! Diamond had a beautiful white female cria out of Man in the Moon's Peruvian Ganymede in Fall 2020. We named her Maia...Unfortunately, she was sold before she was shown. She now resides at Farm and Fleece in NC. See more in her profile below. Diamond's a gorgeous girl that caught my eye at the 2018 Buckeye Fall Alpaca Fest. Once we opened up her fleece, I was in love! Diamond's sire, 7SAF Thunder Valley, is a multiple champion and Judges Choice recipient. He's a true to type male with perfect conformation and head to toe covered with a bright, dynamic fleece. He has exceptional fineness and uniformity with superior staple length. At age five, he carried a 19 micron fleece, SD of 3.9 and CV of 20.7. The uniformity of crimp from skin to tip is remarkable and carries throughout front to back, side to side. Description

Strong and healthy cria arrived the day we returned from vacation weighing in at 19.2 pounds. The biggest surprise was his color--we were hoping for a fawn (with a medium brown sire), but the color genetics of his dam are apparently locked in at white! Asterion’s conformation isn’t what we’d hoped, as he has a little weakness in his rear legs, so he’s being offered as a fiber male. He has a very nice fleece that should produce awesome fiber for many years to come. Asterion is currently for sale with his dam, however, he can be purchased separately. We're letting him stay with his dam a little longer than usual, as he's very attached to her and she won't be rebred until Spring, but he can be weaned at any time.
