Skyline's Peruvian Maestro lands on MaRS! We had been looking for a light fawn male to add to our herdsire line up for quite some time when Maestro became available. He has a solid build, on a well balanced frame. His genetics are well established Peruvian lines including a long list of Accoyo bloodlines. Maestro's fleece has impressive density with zipper type crimp, long staple, and brightness. Progeny on the ground, including a leopard appaloosa out of an appy dam. The fleece density and character definition is impressive on his offspring. Maestro’s son, Wahoo from MaRS, has now taken the place of his father in our herdsire line up. We thank Maestro for the positive traits that he added to our herd!

Claritas from MaRS

Got spots? Well, Claritas from MaRS could have them in there somewhere! Born to one of our best fawn production dams and an appaloosa sire, we certainly weren't thinking she'd be bright white. We only got two progeny by LF Del A Burl before he was exported to Germany and Claritas is one of them. Heavy boned, solid build, and a nice dense white fleece with defined character. She's in great physical shape and she exceeded our expectation to be a fabulous mother like her dam, and her grand-dam. Basically, Claritas is a great production female with the chance of throwing the appaloosa pattern when bred to the right male. We don't have any appaloosa males that are unrelated to Claritas, we'd love to see her go to a breeder that does! Claritas was bred to our light fawn male, Maestro, in hopes of bringing out those hidden spots. Instead, we got a gorgeous fleeced white for the first time around, but certainly robust and healthy. Claritas is also one of those dams that will allow other crias to visit the milk bar, that can be a wonderful quality in a dam. Some savvy appaloosa breeder could hit the jackpot with this female! She hasn't been bred for several years while at another farm but she was bred to Highpoint for a June 2024 cria. The result was a handsome, solidly built, white male with a large light fawn spot on his back, and a fawn tail.
