Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose (Sizzy) is a simply divine light brown, male with extremely bright fleece, full of high-frequency high amplitude Mirco bundles, as well as carrying a very dense fleece with an amazing handle. Several of the top Judges have called him "The Total Package." With him being an exceptional twelve-time champion, including the 2012 AOBA National Alpaca Show Halter Color Champion & 2012 The Futurity Halter Color Champion. Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose has been breeding for us for several years now and we couldn't be more pleased with the amount of improvement he has made to our herd. In 2014, we consigned Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose to the 2014 Amber Autumn Auction (AAA) and he ended up selling for $90,000, making him the highest-selling Snowmass Matrix Rose offspring to date. He was sold to Daryl and Shirley Krause of Amber Autumn Alpacas in Oregon. A year later we ended up acquiring half ownership of Sizzy with both of us, Amber Autumn Alpacas and Red Granite Ranch, closing Sizzy to all outside breedings. Though his offspring will be offered at both ranches and depending on the year, some outside breedings may be offered. Snowmass MR Sizlin Rose was mentioned in The American Alpaca Journal, Issue 2, January 2020 in the “Black Ring Demographics” where Sizzy appeared in the top five genetic contributors to the winning black groups in the 2018-19 black ring. Lancaster's AuSable Arabesque is a maroon, multiple-ribbon-winning, proven dam. Her dam, a bay black Snowmass Casanova daughter, touts the Bueno and Peruvian Macusani lines. Her sire is none other than the 6x Champion, Peruvian Lancaster. Arabesque won Second Place at the NJ Show under judge Wade Gease. Wade's comments: "....this girl bumped up the line to Second Place due to her consistency in her fleece. It is of uniform color, strucutre and hand...fineness puts her in second behind the first place female...above the rest of the class." Arabesque is the dam of our super-champion black female, Presidio's Pirouette. Two of Pirouettes offspring are at EP Cambridge headquarters in Aus. She has given birth to six amazing animals here at Red Granite Ranch, 3 males and 3 females. She has produced three blacks and the other three are of dark brown variation.

For all that have seen and judged this male, he has been represented as the IDEAL standard for grey fleece. The evenness of his fineness and the astounding density and uniformity that is found within his blanket is simply incomparable. It is a very advanced, high-frequency crimp style from skin to tip, rarely seen in his color group. This crimp style continues right down the leg and into his belly area, also running up through the neck all in a very uniform manner. Judges’ have described his fleece as “angel-like and delicate” with “superior uniformity of micron” and carrying the “dangerous combination of fineness and density”.
