Part of this was due to the misunderstanding of the appaloosa gene which had been called a recessive, a partial dominant, an incomplete dominant, or even an "unknown". We have learned much about the appaloosa gene(s)... and this guy has a pedigree packed with those that are most expressive and colorFULL. Lucky is the perfect "next generation" for those looking to produce wildly expressed appaloosas.

Description

Beautiful phenotype-- this young male has curb appeal galore. He has a compact, stocky frame, great leg coverage (fleece to his toes), a lovely head with full fleeced cheeks, short muzzle and small fuzzy ears. He is very fine with average crimp. Unfortunately, he missed the memo on the spots-- this young male is sired by the wildly spotted appaloosa Enchanted Hill Appy Go Lucky. Though he has a solid blanket, his pedigree is filled with outstanding appaloosas, harlequin and grey genetics. His dam is Rare Gem Royal Velvet out of champion grey male, Granite Bay Royal Steel. This young one is full of possibilities. Because Feelin' Lucky missed the appaloosa expression that his genetics are capable of, he is being offered at a greatly reduced price for these genetics. Note: Feelin' Lucky's color genotype was submitted to Canada and will be available ~ 11/15/22.
