BREAKING NEWS!! Kiernan just brought home his THIRD Get of Sire Blue Ribbon at the 2013 California Classic. His third Get of Sire in as many shows and his second two years running at the CA Classic. Kiernan offspring brought home the Produce of Dam and the Breeders Best Three at the same show. Oh... Then there was OVA Peruvian Crisdean the Explorer, a Kiernan son who won his Class, Color Group and the coveted Best of Color Groups banners. Just Awesome!! Kiernan has proven to be everything that we had hoped for in a breeding male. With over nearly thirty registered cria on the ground his reputation has grown with each Championship, Reserve and Blue Ribbon won by his offspring. In the recent 2012 California Classic Kiernan won the coveted Get of Sire Class and five of the seven Kiernan offspring at the show won blue ribbons along with a Championship and a Reserve Championship. Later in 2012 Kiernan again won the Get of Sire class at the Gold Country Gathering and again his cria cleaned up winning multiple blue ribbons and both the Color Championship and Reserve in the brown male class. His offspring are all marked with excellent coverage and fleece character, extreme crimp and brightness along with the typical drop dead gorgeous head. They say that the proof is in the progeny and in this regard Kiernan is producing one outstanding cria after another. Kiernan’s dam, Snowmass Legacyna is out of the legendary 4Peruvian Legacy and his sire, FDA St. Andrews a multiple color champion himself, carries Peruvian Santino and PPPeruvian Dracula genetics. Looking for Accoyo genetics? Kiernan offers some of the best. . His fiber statistics show him to have the best crimp in our herd. Kiernan has just a picture perfect head with black ears and muzzle. Fleece coverage and character, density and staple length are just phenomenal along with strong bone and good conformation. In the show ring, Kiernan has impressed the judges in winning three championships, a blue ribbon at AOBA Nationals, eleven overall blue ribbons and a slug of other awards. Do your breeding program a favor and book a package of breedings to Kiernan. Another interesting fact - Kiernan has never thrown a white cria even when bred to white. We would be happy to discuss multiple breeding discounts.

Dam: Marin SC Coqueta

Blue Black Girl with Blue Ribbon!

Marin SC Coqueta

HuacayaOpen (Female)True Black
AOA# DOB: 11/25/201311 yrs
Coqueta has turned out to be a lovely young lady. She's quite close to her dam, a very black female out of the acclaimed Studmaster program of NorthWest Alpacas. We bred Cocopuff to our very black Champion, Dundee's AJ Stormcat and he put his signature perfect conformation and head on her sturdy frame. Add to that a very soft handling bright blue-black fleece with moderate crimp, fineness, and density, and uniformity of micron. Coqueta just took 1st of 7 in a competitive class of 7 at AlpacaFest West. The judge stated that she has the finest fleece in the class, moderate density, good uniformity of micron and crimp. excellent conformation, and is well-grown for her age. Coqueta had her first cria, a beautiful dark brown female, in early November. She is a great mother, and the little girl is growing rapidly. Coqueta does not sell with the cria, who will wean in the spring. Coqueta sells with a breeding that you can use on her or any of your females. Of our males, I'd suggest Accoyo America Hawkeye, or perhaps Manchu's Sun Tzu for Coqueta. Or, you can try for grey with our grey junior herdsire, Iron Sun--a grandson of Aussie .38 Special!

We have breeding options!!!!! I remember Dale and Dee purchasing American Iron as a wee little boy years ago. The rest is history!!!! Per Dale Davis: His full sister sold that day for over $80,000.... we KNEW we had a winner - we just had to wait while he grew up. And grow up he did - winning a number of championships along the way including a sweep at IAO 2012 winning the Grey Male COMMERCIAL Halter Championship and Reserve Grey Male COTTAGE Fleece Championship - A fleece good for BOTH divisions!! And THIS YEAR SPINNERS DREAM IAO 2013 - The top award in the Cottage Fleece division! So yeah - he has WON a whole rack of ribbons for us, but really? What I am excited about is his fantastic fineness and the consistency of that fineness thru out his fleece and colored fibers - they are ALL fine... beautiful hand, stocky bone, BEST HEAD IAO 2011!! so yeah - really nice head too.. and all that color... and all those ever so famous ancestors - what a pedigree this boy has - very deep - very proven.. I simply can't wait to get MY first offspring on the ground - he is going to ROCK our colored huacaya breeding program. Check out his pedigree, look over his winnings.. if you had a chance to get look at his fleece while he was on our show string! Well you KNOW its good. Scott and I had the chance to stand American Iron on our ranch and we jumped at it. We now can cover our El Dorado Captain Jack females with him and boy are we excited!!!! And we can offer him to you as another Huacaya Stud Option!!! Thank you Derwydd Alpacas and Epic Alpacas for the opportunity!!!!! Description

Coletta's maternal line carries strong black genetics, including Champion grandsire, Dundee's AJ Stormcat. Her sire, Kiernan, is a product of Amanda Vanden Bosch's breeding program and he has numerous champion offspring and get-of-sire wins. Our Coletta has a very pretty, balanced, sturdy frame, a richly-colored crimpy fleece with a soft handle and winning color genetics. She's a sweet girl and is easily lured with food. She had a beautiful girl last Fall who we love! We bred her this Spring to multi champion Accoyo American Hawkeye. We can't wait to meet her new cria! Coletta is on our farm in Sonoma County in the North San Francisco Bay area.
