Her sire was the infamous DDF PERUVIAN MACGYVER, a legendary producer of Grand Champions and a multiple Get of Sire winner. Rio Grande’s dam side is equally impressive, distinguished by elite, data-driven genetics. GVA COALDUST’s dam, CIRCUS GIRL, possessed strong 2024 EPDs in the Top 15-25% for four key traits. Her dam, CMR PERUVIAN CARLEETA, carried truly elite 2024 EPDs, landing in the breed’s Top 5% for AFD, SDAFD, SF, and %F>30, and the Top 10% for %M. Star is a multi with the kind of pedigree any solid color alpaca would be proud of. She is a daughter of Belefonte and her dam is a Balboa daughter. She gets her color combination from her dam but Star has much more white. Belefonte also has some multi in his background so there is a strong possibility Star will continue the multi tradition. She has a very nice quality fleece and did well in the show ring.
