Awakening is co-owned with Brenda Weber of BlueRidge Alpaca Ranch outside of La Crosse, WI. We are thrilled to have Michelangelo's Awakening. He is a show champion and an established sire of champion off-spring. Usually he produces the color of the dam, especially for grey (his dam was grey). His crias are outstanding - fine and dense. Silver Sistine, Sooper Trooper and Tokyo Smoke (at Blue Ridge Alpacas) have brought home blue, purple, and orange ribbons. Come see them and make your decision for your next breedings. You won't be disappointed. Show winnings and Judges comments about Awakening: At Minnesota Alpaca Expo 2014: 1st place out of a class of 8 dark brown juvie males and a Reserve Championship. Judge Peter Kennedy comments, “At 7 months of age he is beautifully grown, very balanced showing a great level of maturity. He is extremely fine, very well organized, beautiful level of brightness with the level of organization, very uniform in his micron. Beautiful softness of hand, a great deal of density overall.” At AOA Nationals 2014: 1st Place out of a class of 9 dark brown juvenile males. Judge Diana Timmerman comments, "He has a super fine fleece, it has incredible brightness and is very well nourished. It shows excellent architecture throughout and the character extends the length of the staple, it is also evident all the way through and all those characteristics give him great density." At Railsplitter 2014: 1st place out of a class of 6 brown juvenile males and the Color Championship for brown males. Judge Peter Kennedy commentts, “Showing a great level of maturity for his age with a beautiful level of coverage. Very true to type. The fleece is extremely fine showing excellent amplitude with his high frequency crimp style through his entire blanket and everywhere I looked it was all the same. Very well organized and great density. It is opening up very cleanly and is very bright, with a beautiful soft hand.”

RobAsia's Campion

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Medium Fawn
AOA# 35453918DOB: 5/31/20177 yrs
Campion is a cross of RobAsia's two best sires, Superstar and Albus. Sire is none other than RobAsia's Albus, seven time champion, and seven firsts for Get of Sire. Albus is a game changer. He stamps out his phenotype & fleece characteristics on his progeny - and Campion is no exception. We expect Campion to do the same. Campion gets his color from his dam, Condelezza, a daughter of Invincible's Brookhollow Superstar, a multi-champion in his own right. Campion is a fleece machine. Long stapled, fine, uniform in micron, bright, and exceptionally dense. Look at those EPD stats. He is a compact male with stocky build and perfect conformation. 2021 fleece still looking amazing. 23.2 AFD, 4.1 SD. He makes beautiful babies, in all colors. Watch for a white juvie and a medium fawn juvie at 2025 Nationals. BREEDING SPECIAL: $500 for a drive-by. $1000 on the farm for 60 days.

Description

ANYONE FOLLOW THE 2021 FUTURITY SALE? Lot #26, "4-Sight's Heart's Desire," yearling medium silver grey female, went for $19,500. Heart's Desire got 3 blue ribbons and one red at the 4-in-1 Iowa show (October 2020). Her second place red .... was behind SILVER SISTINE!!! Silver Sistine is a powder blue-grey, headstrong, diva. She is a beauty with a strong square frame. Silver Sistine has great density, coverage, fineness, architecture, and uniformity. Her bite is perfect and she has always been healthy. Silver Sistine combines Awakening and Sleight of Hand (Sly). Her lineage includes; El Nino, Caligula, Sunipani, Quijote, Danko, Maverick, Royal Fawn, Dom Timbo, Show Me The Money, and Smoke 'N Mirrors. The color-producing potential of this female is endless, with emphasis in grey. Stats for 5/2020 shearing: AFD 19.2 SD 2.8 CV 17.4 CF 99.2% Stats for 5/2021 shearing: AFD 21.5 SD 4.8 CF 98.7% She strutted her stuff at Nationals 2021 (and reared, and kicked, and spit at the Judge), and still came home with a 4th behind three very-tightly grouped girls from out west (1st eventually getting CC). Sistine was bred to our .38 Special son, Bluebird's Luxor, and delivered a large boy on June 2, 2023. Long, very dense fiber, but seems to be multicolor, like a tortois shell cat. Sistine is tentatively bred to RobAsia's Campion for a May 2025 cria. See Blue Ridge Alpaca Ranch site for more pictures of Sistine.
