SuriHerdsire (Male)Dark Fawn, Light Silver Grey, Medium Silver Grey
AOA# 35174332DOB: 8/5/20168 yrs
JackKnife has the coolest colors and pattern, and is one of the 6 appies produced by Fusion in 2016. He has beautiful luster, good lock structure and fineness, and correct conformation. JackKnife has a playful and inquisitive personality and is easy to handle. His colors are a brilliant dark fawn and light silver grey, and we can't wait to see him shorn to see his spot pattern. Since JackKnife is the product of 2 appy parents, we expect him to produce a high percentage of appaloosas. Patches, who is the dam of JackKnife, is a wonderful mother and great foundation dam. She is on the smaller size, weighing only about 135 lbs, but births easily and has lots of milk. Patches is a 3X Color Champions with 8 Blue Ribbons. She has retained her fineness and annual shear weights each year. Fusion, his sire, is a strong gentle male with a great personality. His spots are very distinct and bold, giving him a giraffe like appearance. You can best see his spots in his shorn photo on his page. His base color is medium silver grey, with med fawn spots. Fusion has produced 75% appy crias from a variety of dams, and we are learning each year how to reproduce the appy pattern. Fusion is closed to outside breedings, but you can purchase a female bred to him. JackKnife settled his first female in the summer of 2018 at just 2 years of age. He produced a beautiful appy female that was sold quickly. He was bred again to 4 females for 2020 crias, and produced 33 appys and 1 harlequin. JackKnife is again bred for another 4 crias in 2021. Can't wait for those spots! We have females FOR SALE that are bred to him. Check out Juliette and Solitaire, both proven producers. JackKnife is available for stud for $1500 and includes 45 days board and an ultrasound confirmation. Discounts for multiple breedings! We are thrilled to purchase this beautiful Nomar daughter out of our Kilimanjaro bloodline as one of our foundation dams. Thank you to Don & Carla Llewellyn of Fox Run Suri Alpacas for selling us this gorgeous female. Safina is an outstanding full Peruvian, approximately 3/8 Accoyo, colored offspring by the award-winning herdsire Fox Run’s Peruvian Nomar, a Macgyver son. The mark of an outstanding herdsire is his ability to consistently make outstanding offspring and he has produced 100% offspring of color, and consistently passes on coverage, density, fineness, lock and luster to his crias. She is a great mom and her crias grow very fast with her tremendous milk production. Safina is Nomar’s best cria to date. She is a gorgeous light brown female with unbelievable density, luster, coverage, and conformation. She has that amazing “soft rolling skin” that breeders love to see. Even at her young age, we believe she will be a stand-out female. Safina made her show ring debut at the 2010 MAPACA Jubilee and was awarded Reserve Color Champion! She has since won Color Champion at the Carolina Show in 2011, and Color Champion at the MAPACA Jubilee Fleece Show, as well as Reserve Color Champion in halter at the 2011 MAPACA Jubilee in her regrowth fleece. Safina was bred in 2015 to SBS Crown Prince, a 12X Champion and delivered a beautiful white female, WRSR Domenica by Crown Prince on 6/18/16. She is a beautiful high luster, dense female with a show career in the making. Safina was bred to WRSR Izod by Kilimanjaro for a 2018 cria and delivered a solid dark fawn male, WRSR Independence by Izod, who turned rose grey cria with dense, curly fleece and super high luster. Independence received the Reserve Color Championship for Grey Suri Males at the Suri Network All Suri Fleece Show in 2019. Independence was changing colors and was shown in fawn, then rose grey classes. She was rebred in 2019 to WRSR JackKnife by Fusion, our super spotted appaloosa Fusion son. Diego appeared light fawn at birth showing a few spots. At 5 months he is turned a dark silver grey and was dark silver grey harlequin when shorn. He has a very silky fine fleece with well-defined lock structure and great luster. Safina is currently bred to WRSR Izod by Kilimanjaro for a July 2022 cria. Izod is one of the last Kilimanjaro sons and produces very fine fleeces with great lock structure. We are expecting a colored cria with great fleece!
