JackKnife has the coolest colors and pattern, and is one of the 6 appies produced by Fusion in 2016. He has beautiful luster, good lock structure and fineness, and correct conformation. JackKnife has a playful and inquisitive personality and is easy to handle. His colors are a brilliant dark fawn and light silver grey, and we can't wait to see him shorn to see his spot pattern. Since JackKnife is the product of 2 appy parents, we expect him to produce a high percentage of appaloosas. Patches, who is the dam of JackKnife, is a wonderful mother and great foundation dam. She is on the smaller size, weighing only about 135 lbs, but births easily and has lots of milk. Patches is a 3X Color Champions with 8 Blue Ribbons. She has retained her fineness and annual shear weights each year. Fusion, his sire, is a strong gentle male with a great personality. His spots are very distinct and bold, giving him a giraffe like appearance. You can best see his spots in his shorn photo on his page. His base color is medium silver grey, with med fawn spots. Fusion has produced 75% appy crias from a variety of dams, and we are learning each year how to reproduce the appy pattern. Fusion is closed to outside breedings, but you can purchase a female bred to him. JackKnife settled his first female in the summer of 2018 at just 2 years of age. He produced a beautiful appy female that was sold quickly. He was bred again to 4 females for 2020 crias, and produced 33 appys and 1 harlequin. JackKnife is again bred for another 4 crias in 2021. Can't wait for those spots! We have females FOR SALE that are bred to him. Check out Juliette and Solitaire, both proven producers. JackKnife is available for stud for $1500 and includes 45 days board and an ultrasound confirmation. Discounts for multiple breedings! 3X Champion King Coal daughter

WRSR Peruvian Coal-Amity

SuriBred (Female)Bay Black
AOA# 31878791DOB: 10/12/200915 yrs
No, she's not brown! Coal-Amity (pronounced like "Calamity") is bay black, and a beautiful uniform color with consistent locking and fineness from her topknot to her toes, and what coverage! She has fuzzy ears and thick fiber inside her legs. Coal-Amity has heavy bone one a compact well-proportioned frame. We lover her fleece and impeccable conformation and so do the judges! She has several Championships in Halter and Fleece at Level V shows. Coal-Amity was Reserve Champion at the 2011 Buckeye Halter Show in her 2nd fleece, growing a 7" annual length and maintaining supreme fineness in the re-growth. She was also the 2010 MAPACA Jubilee Black Color Champion as a juvenile at the largest alpaca show in the country, and then her fleece won at the Black Color Champion at the 2011 MAPACA Jubilee Fleece Show! Coal-Amity's dam, Fox Run's Peruvian Sakari, is one of our foundation dams and daughter of Accoyo Kotzebue. Sakari has very fine white fiber and black skin. Her 1st cria is WRSR Accoyo Allegiance's Avanti, MAPACA 2-time Color Champion and 2010 Judge's Choice winner. Coal-Amity's sire is multiple-time champion Allegheny's Peruvian King Coal (2010 MAPACA Herd Sire of the Year), a beautiful True Black that produces Champion blacks and other dark colors from white dames, along with amazing fineness, lock architecture, and luster. While she is currently a foundation dam, she is offered for sale as we reduce our herd to lower numbers. Arrange a visit to see this beautiful female and the winning offspring she produces. Her 2014 cria is WRSR Coalypso by Hotazel, who won 1st Place at the 2015 MAPACA Jubilee Halter Show, pictured below. She also was awarded 2nd Place at the Carolina Alpaca Show. Coal-Amity was bred to our multi-champion male, WRSR Serengeti by Razor, and delivered a beautiful appaloosa female cria on 8/12/17. She was up and running within an hour, and her color is beige with dark fawn spots. Every day we see more spots popping out! Coal-Amity was rebred to WRSR JackKnife by Fusion for another appy cria, and produced a dark solid grey male on 5/28/20. He is up and running and healthy. She is currenlty bred to our Multi-Champion appaloosa, WRSR Kazmere by Fusion for an April 2022 cria. Contact Patti by email or call 443-740-4240 for more information.

Description

Smokey Joe was supposed to have spots! This beautiful little guy turned out to be a uniform dark silver grey with a fine fleece. His dam, Coal-Amity, is a Champion with fine fleece, and his sire, JackKnife is a beautiful reverse appaloosa with a fantastic personality. Smokey Joe has been halter trained and is ready for the show ring or PR work. Unfortunately, we have too many related males from our Fusion line of appaloosas, so Smokey Joe will not be used in our breeding program. However, he does carry the genetics to produce appaloosa offspring.
