WRSR Kazmere by Fusion
SuriHerdsire (Male)Dark Fawn, Medium Silver Grey, Medium Rose Grey, Dark Rose Grey, True Black
AOA# 35174349DOB: 5/26/20168 yrs
Kazmere is a beautiful appy with shades of rose greys, black, fawn and silver colors, a product of an appy sire and a pinto with sots. He appears to have great density with dense, layered locks across his entire body, exhibiting high luster as well. Not only is he striking in his stance and a real eye-catcher, he has a gentle, curious nature and is easy to handle. Kazmere's 2017 histogram yielded an AFD of 22.0 microns, SD 5.16, and CV 23.42.
At the age of 4, Kazmere's 2020 histogram (for EPDs) was an impressive AFD 23.6, SD 4.6, CV 19.5, and comfort factor of 92.6%.
Kazmere's dam is Azteka, a proven dam who has been rebred to Kazmere's sire, Fusion. Azteka was never shown, but exhibits high luster, excellent fineness, and a standout showy appearance. She is easy-going in nature and a great mom, too.
Fusion, our appy grey herd sire, is the sire of Kazmere, and Kazmere is his first cria, and an appy one at that! Fusion's bloodlines include MacGyver, Condor, Magnifico, and Peruvian Juan, giving him density, lock, color and luster. Fusion is a strong gentle male with a great personality. His spots are very distinct and bold, giving him a giraffe like appearance. You can best see his spots in his shorn photo on his page. His base color is medium silver grey, with med fawn spots. Fusion has produced 75% appy crias from a variety of dams, and we are learning each year how to reproduce the appy pattern. Fusion is closed to outside breedings, but you can purchase a female bred to him.
Kazmere is now proven, with 3 pregnancies confirmed via ultrasound and one pending. He is available for stud services. Kazmere lost a testicle sometime between his Championship at the Buckeye Show (definitely both there) and the MAPACA Jubilee Show about 5 weeks later when he placed 4th. Kazmere was doing a lot of wrestling and fighting, and it is most likely that the testicle was somehow injured and was reabsorbed. Because he lost testicle was due to injury and not a congenital birth defect, we are confident that he will produce beautiful bronze/grey spotted appaloosa crias. Full breeding guarantees apply.
