We just don't have any females to breed him to!! they are all related to him!! Del would be a great contributor in fleece quality to any up and coming breeder that wants quality blood lines. There is nothing wrong with the price, or, with Delessandro, we just have enough of his blood lines on our farm and have decided to some one else have use of what he has to offer a breeder that desires his ancestry. I do have other males that are available for the same price, just not breeding any more and are pen mates with Del. Del is easy to handle and is wonderful to work with, he would make a wonderful learning alpaca to get started with, his price negotiable when purchased with other males in his age group paddock.

Apache is an impressive fellow with what he holds in him and on him, he is confirmationaly straight and sound with fleece qualities and character that his Ancestry dictates. His fleece remains clean from skin to tip holding little if any vegetable matter on his fleece. His fleece is dense, crimpy with a lustrous character that has put him on the Breeding Herd sire list as his fleece has matured into something to be proud of. He has settled a couple of our girls with cria due fall of 2020, produced all girls, so far. he has one 2019 offspring on the ground and her fleece is impressive! 2021 total on his cria's to date is four girls one boy!!! Update: Fiber Density stats Data Details: Density: 79.0/mm Secondary: Primary fiber Ratio: 12.1:1 In-skin mean primary fiber diameter: 22.8 / Standard Deviation 2.7 In-skin mean secondary fiber diameter 19.2/ Standard Deviation 2.7 Report Comments: Very good density with two highly uniform fiber populations and a very good fiber population differential of 3.6 microns. These are very good numbers for a fawn alpaca Sire! And you Should see his girls!!! Oh my Goodness! sporting his color to the color of the female he's bred to with all of his locks of dense crimpy and very shinny fleece

Description

Citrine one of our prized females on our farm, her coloring along with her personality makes her the top attention catcher. Her fleece is awesome! Tempting everyone to touch and part her fleece. Once her fleece is parted the senses just explode with what she is hiding next to her skin. Her fleece is very clean from skin to tip, bouncing back when her fleece is gently pushed on by with heal of your hand. Then when you part her fleece it’s like your un-zipping it, which then reveals the crimp with amplitude exposing the bundling!! We are looking forward to this little gal growing up and showing us what she has when we shear her this spring! We have bred to Apache this, which we suspect will be an outstanding pairing with all of his qualities combined with hers.
