Viola has the best of two worlds. He has a regal and ever-watchful bearing, a large frame, with good, straight conformation, a model temperament, spectacular fleece characteristics, & a Champion lineage to match. His dense fleece is soft, fine and crimpy, with a well-defined lock structure. At the age of 20 months, Viola was ready to start his breeding career, and so, we are expecting his first crop of crias in Spring 2012!! In 2010, he was appraised by both Jude Anderson and Amanda VandenBosch. They said: "This young male has a good head, a well-balanced frame, and a good bite. His fleece displays good staple length, has a very nice handle, and an even medium rose grey blanket." Dia is exquisite. With Elite International genetics including some of Snowmass' finest originals: Snowmass IncaAccoyo Star, Peruvian Snowbells, Peruvian Bueno, Hemingway, Snowmass Silver Pearl, Peruvian Accoyo Arctic, and Peruvian Snowmaster, how could you not be good? As soon as she was born it was apparent Dia had a remarkable fleece. Not only does she have one of the most exciting fleeces we've seen, but her fleece shows pervasive fineness, incredible definition, and dense bundles of bright, low micron, low amplitude, high frequency, tight crimp with long staple length. Her last cria, Dalci, born summer of 2019 had 15.0 micron count at first shearing, and has dense, gorgeous white fleece.
