A beautiful 44 month old LSG fleece at 20 microns! We were really blown away when we first saw this young male. His fleece is what anyone breeding for fine fleece is looking for. He has a perfectly spotless fleece that actually looks Rose Gray in some light and Silver Gray in others. Carderock has won Fleece Championships 2 years in a row at AOBA Nationals and just this March 2014 at the AOA World Fleece Show. As a 2 year old he is still exhibiting extremely fine fleece with amazing staple length. Carderock is proving that gray is a color he can reproduce. Fickle is a sweet mild mannered girl. She did well at MAPACA 2014 , getting a third place ribbon.. Judge loved her coverage and crimp style. Fickle is not a large girl. She has a smaller frame with thick bone. Her sire is none other than the well known TGF Drifter . Drifter's cria's have been in high demand as breeding stock. Her dam is a dark brown Goldsmith daughter, Sonador, whose crias have been fabulous. She has Felix and Goldsmith on her dams side with Legacy and El Nino on her sires side. Fickle had her most recent cria in spring of 2019 - a beautiful bay black male out of Alpine's Carderock. She is an amazing mother with an overwhelming amount of milk. Spring 2020 - Fickle has been bred to our award winning white Houdini line boy Magic Mike. Mike's fleece was my favorite by far at this year's shearing.
