Density on a compact frame
Hummingherd's Mi Corazon
HuacayaOpen (Female)Dark Fawn
AOA# 32307191DOB: 8/18/201113 yrs
Mi Corazon is the daughter of PC Running Late, a light fawn Titan son, and Hummingherd Alpacas' light brown multiple champion, bred & owned winner, and three-time Produce of Dam winner, Hummingherd's Alma Rose. Her granddam, Mi Alma, was a Futurity Reserve Champion and sold in the Parade of Champions auction for $57,000. Mi Corazon has a beautiful head, solid fawn color, and good fineness and density off the charts.
MiCorazon placed 2nd under Amanda VandenBosch at the 2014 SWRAS. Amanda remarked that she 'packed a lot of fiber on her compact frame' as well, she noted a remarkable density and uniformity. She has a soft handle still even as a young production dam, and wont dissapoint!
She had her first (female cria) by Hummingherd's Delessandro without any fuss 10/2014. As the long line of production dams in her lineage have, she as well mothered and raised a stellar first cria. This female is the densest cria with perfect conformation. She carries dark spot gene and is a lighter fawn than MiCorazon (sire white with brown spot) but is the densest female of that cria crop and potentially the second densest on the ranch here. She sold in 2018 to another breeding farm.
MiCorazon should be used in a colored breeding program seeking some dark fawn or possibly greys with her dam coming from the Snowmass Royal Rose line., interested parties please inquire as she should be in production with these awesome traits!
