Goldrush's Stone Cold Stunner

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Dark Rose Grey
AOA# 31555333DOB: 5/26/201014 yrs
First Crias due in October 2013!! Stunner is a modern dark rose grey Jr. Herdsire. He quickly established his winning success in the show ring at the early age of 6 1/2 months...he won RESERVE COLOR CHAMPION!!! Stunner's fleece speaks for itself; extremely dense & super soft, very long staple length & stamped with a zipper style crimp. He has a big boned conformation that is solid & true. His perfect bite compliments his conformation. Mahala, Stunner's Res Color Champ dam, is sired by 'Victor's Hemiaccoyo Casanova'! He's the sire of 2 of the BEST GREY alpacas in the US, Aussie .38 Special & Aussie Guns-n-Roses! At 7 yrs- Total weight of fleece- 16.6 lbs with a 5 1/2" staple in 12 months of regrowth! Stunner's sire, 'Emerald Farm's Stone Cloud', is the complete package! Stone has a stubby head w/ a full & dense topknot. His fleece is extremely dense & stamped w/ deep, uniform crimp. Stone has a beautiful, butter soft fleece & very long staple length. He has a strong & well-balanced heavy bone structure. His bite is perfectly aligned under the top pallet & centered exactly correct. His genetics go back to two of the best..."Pperuvian Victor" & "Danko"!!! Pperuvian Victor (deceased) was the youngest male that arrived in the Peruvian importation in 1994. Victor sheared an incredible 14.5 lbs per year w/ over 8 pounds of blanket, & a staple length of over 6 inches. The hallmarks of Victor offspring are superior crimp, density, luster, fineness, & excellent staple length along with an ability to transmit all of these qualities in a wide range of colors. He is the only Accoyo male to have so many prize winning offspring in such a wide color range. The trademark style of the "Victor crimp" has become widely known in the North American alpaca industry. Danko is a phenomenal silver grey herdsire. He has excellent strong bone structure, extensive fiber coverage & passes a typey conformation onto his offspring.

Service Sire: Quicksand's Smoked Quartz

Canadian Super Sam Grandson

Quicksand's Smoked Quartz

HuacayaMaleMedium Brown
DOB: 7/8/20159 yrs
Smoked Quartz has been quietly maturing in our home pastures and has matured into a solid, robust male with a buttery soft fleece that is full of crimp and nice brightness. His density is above average. Smoked Quartz's fiber status or 2017 (2nd spring shearing) were pretty amazing for a medium brown - afd of 20.5 micron, SD 3.7, CV 18.2 and spin fineness of 19.5. comfort factor of 98.4% wow! He is a strong robust male that would do well with healthcare if you have a chute. He does walk on the halter and I can restrain with a halter/lead for shots but he just doesn't like his feet touched and although he's not a huge guy, he knows his power.

Description

Tinkerbelle has that highly sought maroon brown fiber color and is a friendly inquisitive young female. She has a soft hand with excellent fineness for her dark color and long crimpy fiber bundles. She is the first to lead the pronking or check out a new visitor. Tink has very nice density and coverage. She turned two years last fall and is ready to breed. Her price includes her first breeding to a Nueva Dia Alpacas herdsire. We'd suggest Smoked Quartz or Rocktober, if he's available (he spends time in Oklahoma at co-owner's farm). Pictures coming soon!
