From the very first time we saw Crystal Spartan we knew he was something truly special. Originally owned (and produced) by Crystal Lake Alpacas in Crystal Lake, Michigan, we were fortunate enough to become partners with some truly amazing people in this incredible male that was born right on their small but high quality alpaca farm. Little did we know then that Spartan would grow up to produce crias that were just as amazing as he was when we first saw him. He is an elite champion winning and producing herdsire with outstanding fleece; beautiful long fleece with high frequency crimp running consistently all over his body as you look from front to back and up into the top knot. His conformation is unsurpassed and his gentle disposition is reflected in his offspring as well. ??His first crias hit the show ring in 2012 and they are following in the footsteps of their sire winning multiple ribbons and banners all across the country at some of the industry’s toughest shows, including at the Futurity and National levels. The list of accomplishments of his offspring are a testament to the kind of herdsire he has grown into. Majestic’s Ahmazying, just one of our “Sparty” daughters has been champion winning at both the National and Futurity shows, in both fleece and halter shows, including Judges Choice fleece at the national show. Not to be outdone by that is Majestic Meadows Awethum, another cria sired by Sparty, a multiple champion winning at both national and Futurity level, and 2014 National Judges’ Choice winner! Crystal Spartan is the 2010 Brown Huacaya Male Futurity Color Champion and has several other awards to his name. Spartan is a true elite male with outstanding, buttery long fiber from top knot to toe, his conformation is unsurpassed and his gentle disposition is reflected in his offspring's personalities as well. Marimba has an outstanding pedigree. Her dam is a daughter of MFI Peruvian Jericho and granddaughter of 5 Peruvian Camelot and her sire is My Peruvian Obsydian. All you need to do is look at her to realize that she has garnered the best from these awesome bloodlines. Marimba’s buttery soft maroon-colored fleece is very fine and equally dense with high frequency crimp all the way out the long stapled locks. She has won many blue ribbons, and a Color Championship. Marimba's offsping have all been spectacular -- all have won blues and most are also Color Champions. Her most recent, Spartan's Silver-Lining has won 6 Color Championships, 7 blue ribbons -- and counting!
