Nightfall was the finest alpaca in the 2009 shearing on our ranch, with a 17.9 AFD and 4.8 SD, which for a true black alpaca is astonishing...even more so considering she was being fed hay with 18% protein (all we could get in a bad hay season). Her sire is Snowmass Nova's Inca, with Snowmass Peruvian Casanova as one grandsire and Incan Magic as another. With females like Snowmass Drambuie's Kaluha (TB) and grandsires like Peruvian Bueno, Peruvian Drambuie and Sir Lancelot, her pedigree is loaded with excellence.
