R&RTROJAN 52T: R&R Trojan comes from Canadian Judge Ruth Elvestad’s dynamic breeding program with emphasis on not only fineness, but density as well! He is descended from some of the most illustrious Canadian and Australian bloodlines, rare in the US. R&R Trojan is a strong framed fawn, great conformation with excellent substance of bone and solid frame. He has extremely DENSE, crimpy fleece! Trojan’s fiber has good uniformity of micron and good staple length for his age. Trojan’s offspring have magnificent tight, crimpy fleece, possessing brightness with a tight structured fleece along with Trojan’s dense, dense fleece, good uniformity of micron extending to the belly, uniformity of length, and uniformity of color. Trojan has white, beige, light fawn, medium fawn, medium brown, bay black, and true black offspring depending of the color of the dam. Interesting enough, he also has a wonderful ratio for have female crias, Out of twenty-six offspring, he has twenty-two that are girls. That is 85% ratio. Approximately half of his cria are brown or black, and we have had no contamination within that fleece. We have taken Trojan’s wonderful genetics and fused that with the Patagonia line, Neversummer’s line, and the Snowmass line to create famous genetics with awesome conformation, density, and fineness. Many of Trojan’s offspring have been selected for high scale auctions with success. Some of his progeny are: Estates Black Beauty, Estates Black Seastar, Estates Zesty Zaina, Estates Sophisticate, Estates Tanzanite Trojan, Estates Champagne Concerto, Estates Aleutian Amoretto, Estates Charleston Razzmatazz, Estates Elsa Mae, and Estates Trojan’s Graceful Princess. Trojan's offspring started hitting our showstring in 2016. Congratulations and thank you to Dianna Herschend of Olympic Ranch for her purchase of Aleutian Eagle Patagonia's Arctica and her 2021 male! ALEUTIAN EAGLE PATAGONIA'S ARCTICA Arctica is out of our multiple award-winning Juneau and Amancio. This combination also produced 12x champion, Arctic Rose, and Arctica is the only full sibling to Arctic Rose. Arctica was assessed by Judge Amanda Vandenbosch as an A- quality with "excellent fineness and soft handle" along with "uniformity of micron. Arctica's sire, Amancio is closely related to Nishio, one of Patagonia's top herdsire. Nishio was the 2004 All-American Herdsire of the Year, and the 2007 Reserve Herdsire of the Year. Amancio's sire, Kaspa, is a 6-time grey champion and one of Patagonia's restricted herdsires. Amancio's fleece is bright, extremely dense, and exhibits a consistent high frequency crimp. 5x Champion and 8x Produce of Dam Winner, Patagonia Juneau (Arctica's dam) is one of the true matriarchs of the Patagonia genetics line and provides a firm foundation for the herd for lovely fineness. Juneau's crias always make our show string. This is one girl we are very excited about! Her fineness and density are a repeat of her dam. Offspring: In 2016, Arctica gave us a beautiful white female sired by R&R Trojan. Trojan, an Oliver Twist son, comes from Canadian Judge Ruth Elvestad’s dynamic breeding program with emphasis on not only fineness, but density as well! Her daughter, Estates Aleutian Amoretto brought home 2nd Place ribbons from the AOA National Show & California Classic Shows in 2017. In 2017, Arctica had a handsome bay black male sired by our magnificent champion producer, Snowmass Pure Passion. Her son recently won Reserve Champion and 1st Place at the 2019 Houston Livestock Show! In 2018, Arctica gave birth to a good-looking white male. In 2020, Arctica presented us with a lovely light fawn female sired by our gorgeous light fawn 8x Champion & multi–Blue Ribbon Winner, Estates Legendary Picasso. In 2021, Arctica gave us a good-looking white male sired by our outstanding, Snowmass Pure Passion.
