This guy may be one of the best kept secrets in the business. If you are looking for a truly superior stud male - with the documentation to back it up - you owe it to yourself to consider LIBERTY: In 2007, skin biopsies from Liberty were sent to both Dr. Evans and Dr. Watts for analysis. The results are almost unbelieveably excellent: over 111 follicles/ square mm (Dr.Norm Evans). Call and I will send you the actual results. Let me know if you can find a white male for sale with better biopsy results than this! The fact that he placed when shown in spite of a leg injury sustained at an early age speaks volumes about his quality. Liberty has a very typical Accoyo/Alianza look and fleece character. Talk about a well-organized fleece with small, dense staples and distinct, high frequency crimp! Sire - Accoyo Franklin, Felix son of pure Accoyo lineage. Everyone knows about Felix, through the quality and fineness of his offspring. One of the handfull of FAWNS imported from Accoyo. Dam - A classic Alianza female, NWA Ltd. Louise is a superb daughter of one of the greatest sires ever: Hemingway. Still attractive and vigorous at 18+ years, her fleece exhibits the density and crimp that her sire was famous for imparting to his get. Liberty splits his time between Sixth Day Farm East in Hilton, NY and Sixth Day Farm West in Wellington, CO. Due to the excellent results we have seen in his offspring, his stud fee is being increased to $2000. However for anyone who purchases stud services prior to July 1, 2016 we will continue to honor the previous fee listed here of $1000. Full Alianza Female

Bravado's Saphire

HuacayaBred (Female)White
AOA# 30490192DOB: 8/13/200618 yrs
The focus at Sixth Day Farm has always been on developing a genetically predictable herd of alpacas with superior textile traits - alpacas that pay their way with the fiber they produce. As a working farm, showing and marketing have taken a back seat to alpaca care and genetic progress. This means that you will find tremendous value here for the price. Yes, we should have more recent photos... Come and see her for yourself! Saphire is a good-looking alpaca exhibiting all the hallmark's of quality: type, coverage, correct conformation, balanced proportions, and her fleece - fine, DENSE, exceptional staple length, with beautiful high-frequency 'zipper crimp'!!! Sire - At eleven years of age, Bravado is still one of the most impressive alpacas I have ever seen: handsome, proud, correct, with a beautiful head, abundant coverage, and his fleece! This combination of fineness and density is rarely seen. High-frequency 'zipper crimp'. Consistently siring crias with the fine, bright, soft-as-silk fiber that lives up to all the hype about alpaca fiber. PPP Salutation is the matriarch of one of our best female family lines. The overall qualiy is exceptional, with 'showy' crimp. Bravdo's Saphire is a full Alianza female. She is a half sister to CHAMPION Antonio's Alianza Salute, and a full sister to CHAMPION Bravado's Alianza Sailor. If you have seen either of those males, nothing else need be said. Previously, it had been decided that Sixth Day Farm could not afford to sell this girl at ANY price. Now being offered for the first time. Saphire's 2014 EPDs AFD -0.404 0.554 SDAFD -0.51 0.554 SF -0.569 0.625 %F>30 -1.815 0.627 MC 3.007 0.538 SDMC 1.011 0.572 %M -7.871 0.482 MSL 3.884 0.465 FW 0.661 0.374 Saphire is located at Sixth Day Farm East in Hilton, NY.

Description

This young cria looks just like her mom did as a juvenile. I have always said Saphire was the best looking cria I ever produced. I think it is a tie now. Her conformation is perfect. I love her head shape and head fleece style. Her fleece is spectacular to look at and her EPDs will be outstanding. They have not been calculated officially by AOA but of course they will be. However, we can predict them pretty closely from her sire and dam's EPDs. I have listed her for $20000 because all of my animals are for sale, but I will be sad if she leaves us even at that price. I am hoping that a year from now I can breed her to Tempest. Starphire is located at Sixth Day Farm East in Hilton, NY.
