At a second shearing Spin Fineness of 16.6 Microns with a 99.5% Comfort factor, he's a tribute to his sire and will be stepping into Porteus' footsteps as his replacement. Vertigo has quite a bit of Snowmass Alpacas elite black genetics in his background so he's one of our "go to" guys for color. Vertigo is proving that he has the strong color gene that we’d hoped. What a beautiful girl in every way...looks, fleece, conformation...Hooray! This is exactly what we wanted. We are sooooo excited about what Katmandu is producing. Great density in a grey fleece and deep consistent crimp with his wonderful fineness carrying through. Nice big bones and his beautiful fleece coverage and fuzzy ears. She's a gorgeous spot free medium silver grey. She's very shiny with lots of staple length and tons of fleece. She's a strong healthy young female with great potential.
