Montoya of PVA

SuriHerdsire (Male)Medium Brown
AOA# 810670DOB: 3/20/200123 yrs
Montoya is one of Mahogony Prince’s most illustrious sons. The blending of his sire, the legendary Mahogany Prince of PVA and his irreplaceable dam, BBFAI Azalea, produced such a pre-potent male. Montoya possesses a rich, deep mahogany colored fleece that is extremely dense, with excellent coverage and well locked from the tip of his ears to his toes AND is a multiple COLOR CHAMPION. Offspring include: Silvana of PVA, 2006 Gray CHAMPION; Olivia of PVA, 2006 AOBA & AWE COLOR CHAMPION; Fantasia of PVA, 2008 Reserve COLOR CHAMPION at the AOBA Nationals & AWE and half sister to 2006 Supreme CHAMPIONS Diamonte and Syrah, both of whom were also AOBA National COLOR CHAMPIONS. -Full brother to the legendary Kobe of PVA and Juan Pablo of PVA.

Dam: Marushka of PVA (Class 1)

Cantano daughter, beautiful!

Marushka of PVA (Class 1)

SuriOpen (Female)Medium Brown
AOA# 841424DOB: 7/19/200222 yrs
Cantano daughter, Proven excellent mother who has produced seven (7) dark colored amazing offspring by Montoya of PVA, including the 2007 AOBA Nationals Brown Color CHAMPION and 2007 Futurity Brown Color Champion: Ursala of PVA. Marushka herself earned a blue (1st) first place ribbon at the 2003 AOBA Nationals. Her latest cria by Montoya, Montoya's Mahatma aka: M&M is bursting with luster worthy of his superior sire and grand sire. And his color...Cantano of Peru all the way. If I could have an entire pasture full of these shiny deep mahogany alpacas, I would! Look for him in the upcoming show seasons and think about adding this solid boy to your breeding program. Marushka's next breeding could be to our uniformity king, Coalossus! His solid frame and great fiber stats carries great potential for this powerful combo...check out the other options in our herdsire group though if you would like to mix and match another combo. Go under contract before we breed her ourselves and lock in a great 2 for 1 deal...Delivery available.

Service Sire: WRSR Peruvian Coalossus

Award winning GREY, award winning cria!

WRSR Peruvian Coalossus

SuriHerdsire (Male)Dark Silver Grey
AOA# 31878760DOB: 11/9/200915 yrs
What a surprise when he was born! Out popped what appeared to be a light fawn cria with speckling, but he was light silver grey at the skin! His dam is one of Wild Rose Suri Ranch's foundation dams, and the dam of WRSR Accoyo Razor, DDF Mulan, a 1/2 Accoyo Bruxo daughter. While Mulan produces color when bred to color, we were surprised at getting a modern silver grey, since this is the first grey cria for multiple black champion Allegheny Peruvian King Coal. Coalossus has a beautiful drapey, slick high luster fleece, and has darkened each shearing until he is now a uniform dark silver gray color. He has a beautiful suri phenotype head and great proportions of the neck, back, and legs. His fiber has very uniform locks that drape beautifully, even on the regrowth. It has a wonderful hand, and lays close to the body. Afraid of loftiness? Coalossus' fleece is "teflon" slick - it easily shed debris and dirt, even crumpled leaves, hay, and grass. This is a great opportunity to breed to a NEW grey appy bloodline. He is not related to Condor, Gunsmoke, Magnifico, Silver Heat, Mercury Rising, Silver King, Manitou, Baranoff, Seattle Mist, Platinum Marquis, nor any other grey/grey appy. Go for the grey, and introduce Coalossus this year to your colored girls to produce improved micron, uniformity, handle, density and color! Coalossus has done well in the show ring, always placing in the top 3. His 2012 Suri Network All Suri Spin-off entry won 1st place and a score of 94 points, tied for most points at the show! As a mature, breeding male, his fiber stats have remained virtually unchanged for 3 years, holding strong under 30 micron and very reasonably uniform, especially for a silver grey. Coalossus settled his first female on his first breeding! He is a good breeder and is easy on the females. He now has 3 cria on the ground, grey, maroon, and fawn - all very nice! His daughter WRSR Pepper Dot by Coalossus not only was awarded 1st Place at the Carolina Alpaca Show but sold as well! She is the same beautiful color as her sire. Coalossus is being bred to multiple dark colors this year...can't wait for next year!
