Maserati is the “Renaissance Man” for Suri Alpacas. He has is all! In the words of the wonderful Jill Bergman; Let’s start with his fleece. Open him up, anywhere on his body, including his legs, and you’ll find lustrous, ropey, dense, fine locks. His consistency is incredible. His density is incredible. His luster is incredible. The quality and the quantity of his fleece is exceptional. One thing that is very important to me is an alpaca’s temperament. Maserati not only is very obedient and very gentle, he is perhaps the most intelligent alpaca on my farm. I’ve been “clicker-training” him and he is the most receptive and the absolute fastest learner that I have. The only limiting factor in his training is the trainer, me. Let’s go to his pedigree. His sire is the Herdsire of Champions, Accoyo Torbio. He has all the positive, Accoyo traits that the pre-potent Torbio has been known to pass on.
