His mostly female offspring have accumulated over 40 ribbons in the show ring and there are many more to come. He makes gray or black when bred to same and you can count on the density. Palladin, Marlo’s Grand sire is a black or grey breeder’s paradise. This steel gray colored stud has herd sire charisma, superior conformation and strong bone. His extremely uniform gray fleece is very dense with excellent crimp and handle. FDA Paladin is a blue ribbon winner in halter classes and fleece competition. Service Sire: Aragorn
844604<--ari-->MRG<--color-->Absolutely remarkable rose grey male with wonderful genetics! Super dense, fine, crimpy and all his offspring are following in his footsteps! 1st Place at AOBA and Reserve Color Champion as the youngest in his class at the Virginia Classic in 2006. The show season in 2007 placed him as 1st and Color Champion in fleece at the CABO show, 1st and Color Champion at the Virginia Classic and 1st at MAPACA. He is a remarkable male! See his PowerPoint or our website for full show results.
Aragorn has the power of blue blood from his sire Gandalf son of the award winning Ameripaca’s Achilles. Achilles is son of the True Black 1995 Bolivian Grand National Champion “Acero Marka's Champ”. Champ is a Bolivian import who has many offspring whom are AOBA, Futurity, & MAPACA show ring winners. Aragorn’s Dam placed 1st at an International Level Alpaca Show in Palm Springs, CA in 1999. She is a gorgeous female and it’s exciting to see such quality genetics on both sides of his pedigree. His dam has shown lingering fineness even into her 10th year! Aragorn, Sebastiana and CocoKhan represented Fireweed in Breeder’s Best award and we placed 2nd in a very large class of highly respected, well financed and long time breeders showing mostly white and light fawn and we were showing rose greys and medium brown.

Description
Great color genetic background for producing Rose Grey! She has produced light silver grey and medium rose grey w/o any blanket spotting. Easy birthing dam, great mother. All of her offspring have exceptionally fine fleece. Marlo continues her “lingering fineness” for grey into her 7th year. Marlo has some of the most classic grey and black herd sires in her pedigree also including Ignacio, a fine true black imported herd sire from Chile. Those herd sires also include: Amanda Vandenbosch’s Palladin with incredible steel blue grey fleece, and Wiley Coyote who was the first rose grey alpaca I ever set eyes on in 1992. From the moment I saw that magnificent male, I was smitten by the color rose grey!
