Description

We purchased Bittersweet from Chase Tavern Farms in 2004 as one of our foundation females. She has not disappointed us. Bittersweet is the dam of our Reserve Color Champion, Painted Sky Inuksuk, and our award winning Licorice. Her fleece has a soft handle and a high frequency crimp style. She has very correct conformation, bite, and has great bone. She is one of our most inquisitive alpacas, has a very gentle demeanor, is easy to work with, and loves to have her afternoon romp with the crias. We now want to make her available to improve someone else's herd. She is a super dam! She produces a lot of milk, and is very watchful of her cria. She is a terrific color producer, and has produced two tue black females and a lovely rose gray male. All ribbons winers.
