WONDERFUL female!
|
Description
Shown only once, Tatania easily won the Blue Ribbon in a large class at the NAAS, one of the toughest shows anywhere. And was very, very close to being chosen as the Reserve Champion!
Tatania is tall, proud female with square proportions, straight legs and a good bite. A big, solid girl with heavy bone and great coverage, she catches the eye - an alpaca you would be proud to own.
Fleece:
Her fleece is non-fading TRUE BLACK. At 10 her fleece is bright, with a very soft handle and good density. A very impressive fleece for a true black, especially when you consider her age - proof of her genetic quality.
Offspring:
She produces cria with the most wonderful crimpy, soft and bright fleece. All have had tufted ears and great coverage. She is an easy keeper, and a good mom with plenty of milk. Her five cria were each born unassisted: a LSG male sired by a DSG), TB male (by TB), two DB females (one by a BB and one by a Beige) and BB female (sired by a white male!). If you want to raise quality color - especially black or grey - Tatania is a GREAT CHOICE .
Pedigree:
Tatania's pedigree is heavy on color, mostly black and silver grey. With age, she has developed a little silver grey on her neck. Her sire was a well-known son of Peruvian Drambuie (Alianza). The farms of the Rural Alianza Co-op have selectively bred alpacas over decades for their vigor and ability to retain their dense, fine fleeces into full maturity and beyond. Tatania is no exception. Her fiber spins up into the most glorious yarn. Come see and and feel her fiber - you’ll be amazed!
Tatania was being held open due to the owner's space constraints. With a female this nice, that's a shame.
BREEDING AVAILABLE: to a handsome silver-grey male- a grandson of Inca Legend and Snowmass Peruvian Casanova!

Note: this alpaca is being brokered by Inti Alpacas, LLC for the owner.
