Smokey is a very dark silver grey full Peruvian male. He is compact and has large bones in a smaller frame. He has wonderful density and fiber coverage from his nose to his toes. At 6 years of age, Smokey possesses a 22.6 fiber micron count. Smokey was sired by Maplewood Farm's blue ribbon fleece winner, Peruvian Pewter who is grey and has a micron of 16. Smokey's grandsire is CPeruvian Silvino and his great grandsire is PPeruvian Felix making him 1/8 Accoyo. Smokey's granddam PPeruvian Pandora was a Alianza import making him 1/4 Alianza as well. His first cria hit the ground in 2007 and we are happy with the results. To date, he has produced approximately 20 cria ranging in color from medium fawn to true black. He consistently throws cria with awesome coverage and very fine, bright fiber. At least half of his offspring have been grey or true black. When bred to a pattern female, he has always produced a cria with patterns. Smokey would be a great match for your females who are dense, but lack fineness. If you are looking for an awesome grey full Peruvian herdsire to add black and grey to your herd, look no further.... For more information and the schedule a breeding, contact Justin and Cara Stray at [email protected]. UPDATE: Smokey took 3rd for Get of Sire at the 2010 Best of the US Show in Columbus with his offspring Jolie Rouge (1st place in halter), d'Artagnan (6th place in halter) and Miss Rosco (5th place in halter). The judge commented on how all 3 offspring had similar fineness, staple length and brightness in their fiber.

AOA# 815362DOB: 8/8/199925 yrs
Maree Sol is full peruvian white female out of Magical Farms elite herdsire Mister Antonio. Mister Antonio is acknowledged by many as one of the best sons of the famous Peruvian Hemingway. During his show career Mister Antonio was undefeated in show rings. Magical Farms paid more to partner in the ownership of this male than any other male on their farm. The Hemingway/Accoyo crosses often create elite fleeces with tight, deep crimping and excellent bundling. This magnificent macho’s fleece is dense, yet still very fine even at ten years of age. These outstanding fleece qualities combined with his excellent alpaca phenotype have made him a winner, and he passes these qualities along to his offspring! Maree Sol is a big full peruvian girl. She has bright white fleece and nice crimp for her age. She is holding a micron count of 28.3 at 9 years of age which is pretty good considering she is a working female. So far, she has produced one white female cria and two dark fawn males. Maree Sol is an attentive mother who births easily and has lots of milk. She is currently bred to our full peruvian modern grey herdsire Smokey who is out of Silvino and Felix lines for an August 2011 cria. Creative financing available with zero percent interest to fit your needs. This girl comes with 2 free breedings to any of our herdsires to be used for her or any of your other females. This girl is also offered for trade, so let us know what you have to offer. For more information and pictures of Maree Sol, please email us at [email protected] Thank you to Zack and Tera Shankel and Family for purchasing Maree Sol. Congratulations on beginning your alpaca adventure! We know Maree Sol will be a wonderful foundation female for your herd; may she bless you with many beautiful cria.

Description

Truxton is a beautiful full Peruvian dark fawn boy. He has bright, dense, bundly fiber. Check out his pedigree; he has Mister Antonio, Hemingway, Silvino, and Felix in his background. Truxton is the friendliest alpaca we have ever had on our farm. He acts more like a dog than an alpaca. He follows us around the yard humming away and loves to be pet. He is also very calm and laid back around children. He would make an awesome pet, 4-H and/or fiber boys. Congratulations and thank you to the Blakeslee Family for purchasing Truxton. We know he will make a wonderful addition to your critter family!
