Maserati is the “Renaissance Man” for Suri Alpacas. He has is all! In the words of the wonderful Jill Bergman; Let’s start with his fleece. Open him up, anywhere on his body, including his legs, and you’ll find lustrous, ropey, dense, fine locks. His consistency is incredible. His density is incredible. His luster is incredible. The quality and the quantity of his fleece is exceptional. One thing that is very important to me is an alpaca’s temperament. Maserati not only is very obedient and very gentle, he is perhaps the most intelligent alpaca on my farm. I’ve been “clicker-training” him and he is the most receptive and the absolute fastest learner that I have. The only limiting factor in his training is the trainer, me. Let’s go to his pedigree. His sire is the Herdsire of Champions, Accoyo Torbio. He has all the positive, Accoyo traits that the pre-potent Torbio has been known to pass on. His dam is My Peruvian Capellini, a multiple blue ribbon dam of exceptional quality. She is by the rare and highly sought after Olajuwon, a true black known for throwing beautiful grey offspring. Capellini’s dam, 4Peruvian Marinera, is one of the The Alpaca Trading Company’s finest producing dams. Capellini has phenomenal fleece coming back, year after year, and is the one in Maserati’s pedigree passing on a keen intelligence and beautiful color genes. This production package of AccoyoTorbio and Capellini is rock-solid! In the Championship circle, Maserati competed against and won Champion over the male that won championships at both the AOBA Nationals and the All American Futurity. In the shows that Maserati participated, he always came home with top winnings. He’s a multiple champion in both halter and fleece shows. In his first year of production, Maserati produced 4 color champions on our small ranch, one of which took Judge's Choice at the AOBA National Conference! He has definitely proved to be an incredible, consistent herd sire. Thanks to Rod and Jill Berman for the privilege of owning this very incredible champion! Maserati is standing stud at Triple H Ranch in Colorado for the summer of 2018!

Accoyo Inca's Peruvian Sherry

Sherrrry, Sherrry Baby……..I can’t help but sing that oldie-but-goodie when I come face to face with Sherry! And what a fine Baby she is! And what fine babies she makes! Sherry is a Dynamite Foundation Dam! She has absolutely exquisite pedigree, with her sire being the 2005 Herd Sire of the Year, Accoyo Inca. He’s one of those “Big Man on Campus” guys with a propensity to produce offspring with killer fleece, killer conformation and killer suri traits. And what did Sherry get? All of the above! And so what does Sherry produce in her offspring? ALL OF THE ABOVE! Sherry’s dam is PPeruvian Petrona, coming from the best line of importation into this country, producing multiple show winning cria. And obviously, Petrona contributes to this magic mix which could only produce Sherry. Sherry is ½ Accoyo. What a treat it is to have a dam that produces Championship Quality offspring. At the farm, I see an alpaca that has great mothering skills, is compatible with all the other alpacas, and puts her face to mine when I bend down. I have to purposely remember that Sherry is an Over the Top female in my herd. I am so grateful to have Sherry in my Foundation Herd. Thank you to Jack and Kelly Armstrong for parting with her!

Description

Giselle is an exquisite pinto female by our illustrious herd sire, Maserati. She is Full Peruvian with great Accoyo legends in her pedigree, including Inca and Torbio. Her blanket color is a lustrous medium brown with her fleece consistently full of that Maserati trademark– dripping luster and greasy handle- and there is no shortage of it. Her coverage is chock-full of dense, ropey locks from head to toes to tail. Our Maserati has been on a roll since day one, and Giselle is no exception. She has perfect conformation, solid bone, beautiful fleece, and an absolutely lovely temperament. She is a dream to handle. Giselle’s pigment is dark, and she would very likely pass on color in addition to her glorious fleece. In the 2010 show ring, Giselle took a coveted Championship at the Futurity, First Place at GWAS (no championship class), and Second Place at AOBA Nationals. These three shows are the largest and most competitive shows in the nation every year. Giselle’s sire, Maserati, needs little introduction. He is proving himself time and time again with his progeny, producing champion after champion on our ranch. Maserati’s very first cria dominated the show ring in 2009 and was awarded AOBA National Male Suri Judge’s Choice. Giselle has inherited her sire’s independent lock style and slick, buttery handle. Maserati’s sire is the Herdsire of Champions, Accoyo Torbio, who is perhaps the most renowned Accoyo male import of the Suri industry. Maserati has all the positive, Accoyo traits that the prepotent Torbio has been known to pass on, and it shows consistently in Maserati’s offspring. Giselle’s dam is our sensational Sherry, who has proven to be a dynamite foundation producer. Sherry generated the dam of our National Judge’s Choice Male, and then went on to produce three additional champions. Sherry has an absolutely exquisite pedigree with her sire being the 2005 Herd Sire of the Year, Accoyo Inca. Sherry’s dam is PPeruvian Petrona who comes
