Minerva is an extraordinary Black Magic daughter . . . one of those rare true black dams that is destined for fame. Her pedigree is stellar with Royal Peruvian Apollo siring her Dam, Peruvian Theodosia. Theodosia was a multiple first place ribbon winner during her show career and now Minerva is following in her footsteps! Minerva took first place in her very first show, the 2008 MAPACA Jubilee. She then went on to claim the Purple Banner at the PAOBA Breeder's Showcase! Minerva's fleece has a wonderful definition of crimp, fineness, brightness, and density. Her strong conformation coupled with her highly sought after fleece style makes her a standout in the true black huacaya realm. We are proud to add her to our outstanding black and grey breeding program! She is currently bred to Dorato's Peruvian Iron Man, a fine young herdsire from Flint Stone Farm, who held his 16 micron champion fleece for the first two years! Since Iron Man has produced black crias from light-colored dams, we are hoping for a black cria from this pairing. If we even get close to the quality of her first two crias - both Blue Ribbon Winners - we will be tremendously satisfied!
