CHALLENGER'S OFFSPRING ARE ON THE GROUND IN THE RING AND THEY'RE SPECTACULAR! Challenger's fleece literally takes your breath away with it's fineness and degree of consistent eye-popping crimp from the top of his head down his legs. It truly has the look and feel of many superior white fleeces. Great density makes this fleece a complete package. He sheared a 4.1 lb blanket of cria fleece alone. Challenger has sired multiple champions and currently has 218 registered offspring. His breeding fee is $7500 and restricted to 5 outside breedings per year.

Blush is the full Peruvian maroon daughter of two maroon parents. This multiple blue ribbon-winning, proven, female may be offered for sale because her award-winning maroon daughter, Brigit will remain in our foundation herd. Blush's sire, King Crimson, is a Champion full Peruvian maroon son of 5Peruvian Camelot and CPeruvian Dahna, both true maroon Peruvian imports. King has won numerous halter and fleece awards at regional and national level, including Best Hand, Best Luster and Best Brightness awards for his magnificent fiber. Blush's dam, Peruvian Daphne, is the rare true maroon daughter of two 6Peruvian imports and an excellent foundation female who possesses top quality, crimpy, fine fiber and strong, square conformation. Blush's solid maroon genetics, combined with her Peruvian heritage, are very rare and desirable characteristics. In Fall 2006, Blush produced an award-winning maroon female, Brigit, from her breeding with the Champion silver grey Legend's Challenger of KPR. In Fall 2007, Blush produced a full Peruvian fawn and white son, Cedrych, from her breeding with our multiple ribbon-winning, white Peruvian Presidio son, who has possibly the best fiber of any cria born to our farm. He is now sold, after winning a second place in full fleece halter at the Level IV 2008 VAOBA show and his fleece will be shown in 2009. Blush's 2008 cria, Meriadoc, is a full borther to Cedrych, who we expect to show in Fall 2009. Blush was bred with our Champion silver grey male, Ben MacDhui, for her Fall 2009 cria, in the hope of producing a rose grey, silver grey or maroon offspring.

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Dark Silver Grey
AOA# 849905DOB: 9/17/200321 yrs
Nikos is an exceptional, half-accoyo, showy son of the renowned silver grey herdsire Aussie Rockford. Nikos is also out of one of the top quality grey females in the nation, Peaceful Valley Priya. Rockford is a half-accoyo son of Pperuvian Felix (deceased) and Priya is a half-accoyo daughter of Pperuvian Yupanqui (deceased), and both of Nikos' parents are highly regarded winners of numerous blue ribbons. Nikos has outstanding conformation, a well-shaped beautiful head, extreme coverage and a dense topknot. His fleece is very, very fine and bright, with good architecture and a gorgeous dark silver grey color. He has well-defined narrow crimp throughout his fiber - all the way up his neck and into his topknot. Nikos is one of the most eye-catching and stylish grey males we have ever seen, with fantastic conformation, coverage, presence, movement and superb fiber. He has three Championships and nine blue ribbons to his credit, even though he has only set foot in a showring three times in his life! The rose grey Avatar son who was Reserve Champion to Nikos at the VA Classic, went on to win Reserve Champion at the prestigious Futurity in 2005, which gives you some idea of the quality of this male... His first crias arrived in Fall 2007 - one solid true black, one true black with a white face - and his 2008 son out of a black dam appears to be a rare dark-pointed roan! Proven to hold fineness and handle over time, Nikos offers excellent quality in colored fiber and rare Accoyo ancestry. His genetics will only be available through his offspring for the forseeable future, and we are currently offering a dark brown 7/8 Peruvian Champion female, Holly, bred with Nikos for her May 2009 cria, either as a 3-in-1, or as part of our "Six for $36,000" package.

Description

Brigit is the absolute image of her award-winning true maroon dam, Spring Blush, who has fine, soft-handled crimpy fiber and is the full Peruvian daughter of two maroon parents, and a granddaughter of 5Peruvian Camelot. This little 3/4 Peruvian girl is sired by the Champion silver grey, Legend's Challenger, who has dense fiber, excellent staple length and fineness, and crimp from tip to toe. After he had been breeding for 6 months, this outstanding son of 5Peruvian Royal Inca Legend had a 2 year histogram of 20.9 / 4.5 / 21.5 / 4.0 and his blanket alone weighed over 5lbs. Named after an ancient Irish Goddess, whose name is derived from the Irish word "brigh", meaning strength, Brigit was up and running around the pasture shortly after her unassisted delivery. A gorgeous true maroon with black points, wonderful fineness and crimp, plus a handle like velvet, Brigit is the result of an outside breeding, and we plan to keep her for our foundation herd. Brigit was bred with our 3X Champion dark silver grey PV Nikos in Fall 2008.
