Description

Black Cloud is a full Peruvian true black male and the son of PPPeruvian Inca. PPPeruvian Inca is known throughout the U.S. as El Negro. He was the first True Black Peruvian herdsire imported into this country and his progeny are prized. We spent many years searching for that extraordinary pure black Peruvian male. Black Cloud was just the male we were looking for to enrich our herd with darker colors. His fleece is dense with the most lustrous crimp we had ever seen in a black. In our estimation and years of experience breeding alpacas, Black Cloud comes close to being a perfect 10. He is friendly and easy to handle. During his visit to Falkland Farm in late 1999, Dr. Julio Sumar praised Black Cloud as having the finest fiber on our farm. With 105 offspring on the ground Black Cloud has made a significant contribution to the North American gene pool.
