Description

This herdsire is truly CHARMED! His fleece is so dense it's hard to pry apart. But once you do, you see his consistent zipper crimp style and consistent fineness. He scores in the top 2% or better in most of his EPDs. He is at the top of our list for fineness and density. His dam is Snowmass Matrix's 7/8ths sister. The only thing his dam is missing from making her a FULL sister is the great Snowmass Quechua. Well that was taken care of in Charmed by breeding her to the tightly held Quechua son Snowmass Overture! Overture is the only Quechua son out of Snowmass' Sollocota Queen, Peruvian Andean Song. Andean Song was born just out of importation from Dam 5022 Ppperuvian Duet. The Song line is one that goes very deep within Snowmass Alpacas and very influential in their Royal White lines and matched up with Snowmass Quechua makes for one of the most important Quechua sons in their herd. [2nd]2nd National Elite Show 2010 - Amanda Vandenbosch judge "very fine and dense".

[CC] Color Champion Light - 2010 Hi-Plains Alpaca Show. Judge Dianna Timmerman was impressed with his fineness that was consistently fine and dense, as well as exhibited the same architecture all the way to his belly, down his legs, and into his top knot. She also loved his outstanding staple length and solid bone and conformation.

[1st] 1st Place Produce of Dam 2011 TXOLAN - very competitive group. Judges said King at 6 months was incredibly fine and dense, but even more impressive was Charmed who, at a full year older, was almost as fine!

[RC] Reserve Color Champion Light - 2011 TXOLAN. Very competitive large class with top level farms and alpacas. Judge Burman said his fleece was AMAZING with incredible fineness and she was sure there must be guard hair since all alpacas have it, but you couldn't see it because it was identical to his secondaries. She also noted that he was consistent all the way down to his legs.
