Royal Flush has headed east to Briar Run Alpacas in WV. Congrats to Rita and Ray on purchasing this elite boy. He will also stand at Highland alpacas this winter so check Briar Run's site for details. We have him bred to a couple of our very best dams in hopes for a boy to help replace his valuable genetics in a future herdsire. Our Royal Flush girls are cherished here and drumroll...his last cria here is a stunning dark rose grey boy...hope he grows up just like dad! RF's full brother just sold for $78,000! His progeny are winning big and commanding good prices (including one of the top sellers at Futurity). Genetically it appears that he is 100% Pure Alpaca with no DNA markers for Llama. Perhaps that explains his ability to throw vicuna fineness. His offspring are consistently in the 15 & 16 micron range. Breed him to grey; you get grey! Snowmass describes him and his full brother as "our 2 most influential fine fiber production studs". We feel so fortunate to have been able to obtain him; thank you Skinner family! We were looking for unique lineage and ultimate top quality. He is sire to Snowmass Silver Signature, (featured in Making of Champions II), whose breedings are sold out. Royal Flush was on Snowmass Alpacas Private Reserve herdsire list until he came to Texas. His production is phenomenal. Snowmass thinks so highly of this male that they reserved future breedings to him. Snowmass repeated the breeding of his sire and dam 3 times. Royal Bronze is full brother to Royal Flush "both these studs represent our finest producing line of Grey Black and Brown. Royal Flush is strong boned, has supreme fineness, amazing extension of character, great staple length, and bountiful luster...producing exactly what we are looking for in a colored alpaca. Vicuna fineness with added staple length and intense brightness.." - Snowmass Alpacas. Royal Flush's dam Peruvian Rosa Royal is as valuable in his genetics as his sire. She's thought to be PURE alpaca and at 7 years old had a histogram of 20.5, 3.7, 17.9, 1.9, the CV and % over 30 is what is so outstanding! His sire Andean Bronze is that exceptional dark colored alpaca whose fiber is like velvet. 2001 All-American Alpaca Futurity: 1st Place & Color Champion 2001 AOBA National Fleece Show: 1st Place 2002. Royal Flush has no spots, even distribution of color, and a black face. He can be bred to any color and has thrown beautiful blacks and browns.

Still just 18 micron at 2 years old, this production female has stunning fiber characteristics and elite bloodlines. She is as dense as she is fine so it's like pushing your hands into an endless pile of silk. Noire was a wonderful shocker when she was born! We bred our queen white Snowmass Don Julio daughter to our Ultimate silky herdsire Snowmass Porteus. We were thinking we might get fawn. But when this gorgeous black bundle popped out we about fell over. Now we knew that Snowmass Don Julio's Prestige had produced the World Class record breaking grey Premier's Absolute, so we knew she had color in her genetics and our gamble paid off big time. You can only imagine what this girl's fleece is like. Gorgeous handle, silky shine, dense, consistent. I'd love to keep her in our herd forever, but as Ron says "everything is for sale" so she is available. She has had one dark silver grey daughter and one true black son from a fawn herdsire. Her black gene is strong and her grey genetics are there too. I'd love to see her bred to a silver grey herdsire at some point. Due to some complications with my health, we're making our herd a more manageable size. We are going on our 14th year in the business and these alpacas represent significant research and genetic advances. I wish I could keep them all, but this is a great opportunity for a well bred Reiling Ranch alpaca at a great price. Her sire is featured in Snowmass Alpaca's Making of Champions Fiber Brochure as an example of a "Silky" alpaca. There are not many Snowmass Porteus daughters out there and she is a treasure. We never thought we'd sell her and have had her priced pretty high, until now. However, she carries genetics top and bottom that we have heavily entrenched in our herd. Her full brother is a working herdsire on our ranch with the most amazing fleece stats...lingering fineness. She has a very square build and still has excellent fleece coverage even at 5 years old and in Texas! This is an excellent chance to put a very powerful black girl in your foundation herd. She is everything! Dense, fine, consistent, good bone with coverage to her toes. She's a sweet girl and is a pleasure to have in our herd. She has given us richly colored cria that have that gorgeous silky style fleece that is our favorite. She will be sold with a breeding to any of our herdsires that you'd like. Snowmass King of Hearts is a great option based on what he's producing. Katmadu is a no brainer and we'll be struggling to make our decision! But, wait....Snowmass Lunar Challenger is another good option also and his first cria just won a color championship as a juvi! The exciting thing is that she's proven to produce black when bred to non-black herdsires, so the choices are fun! She is true black at the skin and very shiney with beautiful crimp architecture.
