Snowmass Porteus, as well his sire, has taken our COLOR breeding program to the top level of SUPERIORITY equal to the most ELITE whites. Porteus was shown at the highest level show, The Futurity, and took first place both as a Juvenile and Yearling and moved victoriously into the CHAMPION CIRCLE. Many Juveniles place well the first year but the real test is if they can stand in the same position the next year. Nothing about him has wavered in fleece and or body in his maturity. His 1st yr AFD of 15.1 and 2nd year of 16.5. HE IS THE ULTIMATE™..." Sadly, Porteus passed away in late Summer 2010. We miss him. He left us with a few spectacular offspring, a young herdsire or two, and a few in-utero that we anxiously await. The Porteus offspring will become the backbone of our breeding programs for years to come. We share our loss with our outstanding partners at Dusty Creek Ranch and Blue Gate Alpacas.

Olympia was highly anticipated and she has grown into a beautiful fine, dense, girl. Her mom is one of our best foundation females who is also mother to Premier's Absolute. We truly believe that the dam is even more important in the cria's genetics than the sire and Olympia will be a strong contributor for many years. We are so excited about the incredible fineness that her cria from Snowmass Porteus has. Her last cria from Matrix Madness is gorgeous and took a top ribbon at TxOLAN 2015 AND was highly considered for the Reserve Championship! He did take the Reserve Championship at the Houston Livestock Show. He is one of Madness' best and his fleece stats are stellar. She is such a great mom that she even adopted an orphan cria! She is top top top in genetic quality. We are looking at Snowmass Matrix Madness again in the future based on there last success. Every cria she's had has been outstanding!
