Purchase Godiva bred and come back for a free re-breeding in 2016! (3 for 1 deal) We have some outstanding young junior herdsires! Angel and Conan's Phenomenon gave us beautiful Godiva on 9/11 in 2010. Lady Godiva was up moving around the pasture when she was discovered and gained 2 lbs in the first 3 days. Her IgG score came back with an awesome 3227! (Her mom Angel has delivered 6 healthy crias, un-assisted, with plenty of milk. Godiva was over 100 lbs at 1 year!) Godiva has fine, crimpy fleece, good confirmation / bite and a VERY SOFT hand. Check out her pedigree if you're looking for gray genetics. Mafutu, Danko, and Ciudad Victoria, with (now deceased) Peruvian Conan to enhance her fleece & phenotype. (Conan is the sire of Peruvian Lancaster so that makes Godiva's sire his paternal sibling!) Watch this one close! Check out Godiva's dam's fleece stats (Angel) - a true black with 24.4 micron and CV of 18.6 at age 7 after 5 crias!? WOW! Godiva has been exposed to Rocktober! If it holds, she'll be due in June 2016. Check out his listing in our herdsires list!

Description

Ready to breed or produce beautiful gray fiber for your herd! Gettysburg is just simply amazing. He is first to greet you when you walk into the pen. He has square solid conformation. Getty's fleece has very nice density with crimp and soft hand. His 2014 cria fleece tested w/ Yocom McColl at AFD 19.4, SD 3.4, CV 17.8, and only 0.9 >30! Wow! Very nice with a 4" staple after only 9 months of growth. (sheared in July 2013 right after birth) We are moving in a different direction and have sold most of our darker females so Gettysburg will not be used for many breedings with our small herd (5 females). Getty would make a very nice fiber male but could be used for breeding as well. He just doesn't match well with our small female herd. We will probably geld him this fall if not sold before then.
