Sparticus di Bella Vita

SuriHerdsire (Male)Dark Fawn
AOA# 304277792DOB: 10/25/200519 yrs
Sparticus is a stunning male who has caused people to stop in their tracks when he walks down the aisle on a lead. I describe him as the "essence of suri". He is a prime example of our breeding philosophy, being 1/2 Peruvian, 1/2 Chilean and 1/4 Accoyo, and we hit the jackpot with this cross. Sparticus was born with locked, lustrous fleece from day one, good sized testicle at birth, and with a tall, stretchy look. He has excellent coverage with great density. To top it off, his locked, lustrous fleece grows back the same every year. He was 21.4 pounds at birth and grew rapidly, weighing 70+ pounds at 3 months and 150 pounds at 14 months. We was an early breeder, as was his sire. His dam also produces early maturing crias, females well over 100 pounds at 12 months of age and easily bred at 13 months. Early maturity gives our clients about a 6-month jump on return of investment, and it is prevalent in this young male's lineage. Sparticus hit his stride in the show ring in 2007, taking multiple blue ribbons, including a 1st place at the 2007 Suri Symposium fleece show, 1st place at the 2007 Futurity, 1st place at GWAS in yearling dark fawn males, 1st place in Produce of Dam with his full sister, Contessa. He has continued this winning record into 2008, culminating in 1st and Reserve Champion fleece at the AOBA National Show. We look forward to seeing what this male with obvious hybrid vigor will produce.

Dam: Marcus' Miracle di Bella Vita

Stunning lustrous suri girl

Marcus' Miracle di Bella Vita

SuriOpen (Female)Medium Fawn
AOA# 31229708DOB: 11/1/200816 yrs
This is one of our best suris. She is a beautiful, full Peruvian, medium fawn with bright, lustrous and very fine fleece. Her dam has fine fleece as well, 17 micron as a cria, and we sell it for $10/2 ounces as raw fleece to the hand spinners. It feels like silk. Miracle is very correct with true suri type. She is well covered with fleece and exhibits good bone and a correct bite. Her sire, Marcus, is an HHSF Peruvian Accoyo Montoyo son, and Montoyo (by Ramillo) was a cornerstone in the Cloudy Pass suri program. Miracle's dam, Evana, is by SMA Bolivar, a Uribe son, and out of Eternal of Peru, a 4P. Meteor daughter, making her a half sister to the well known Cantano, the highest selling suri male at auction. Miracle is a quiet, calm female who is one of the easiest alapcas to handle on our ranch. She has proven to be an easy breeder and very attentive mom. She has produced 2 cria without issues. She is open and can be bred to one of our suri males or to yours. We would suggest our full Peruvian Pistol's Reload to pull through more color or our Captain Morgan son, Luciano. To stay light, we have our full Peruvian Baron son, Epic. SPECIAL SURI DEAL Bella Vita Ranch has 11 suris remaining, and we saved the best for last! Buy all proven breeders for $12,000; that's less than $2000 each for the breeding stock and fiber males are free! Most of these are ribbon winners and champions or are offspring of champions. These were hand selected to continue our suri program on a smaller scale, but alas, we have come to the conclusion that we do not have the time or resources to continue both suri and huacaya programs at a level we are satisfied with. So, we are offering our remaining suris at deeply discounted prices to help get them into programs that will utilize their excellent genetics. These are proven, tried and true genetics that have created success for many alpaca farms, past and present.

Description

This is a good sized, rapdily growing male from a line of early maturing alpacas. Females from the sire line are 110 to 130 lbs at 13 months of age and ready to breed. The dam line are large boned alpacas of good size and have very quiet, tractable personalities - i.e., they are very easy to work with - good thing since they are of commanding size. Mach I has bright white fleece with good independence of lock and a cool, silky hand. His bite is correct as is his frame with true suri type. Because he is young and unproven, he is included in our total suri package at no cost (See our suri package on this site). Separately we would sell him at fiber male prices, and he will be registered as a fiber male which can be changed in the future should he prove to be a herdsire you would desire to breed.
