Cloudypass' Peruvian Marcus

SuriHerdsire (Male)Light Fawn
AOA# 842761DOB: 10/25/200222 yrs
Marcus is a full Peruvian, 1/2 Accoyo, proven herdsire and a Ramilo grandson through his sire, HHSF Peruvian Montoyo. Montoyo was the cornerstone of the Cloudypass program, and his sire, the late Ramilo, has an incredible number of get of sire awards for Humming HIll Suris, Ben and Lynda Fisco. A Montoyo daughter was the high seller for $94,000 at the 2006 Alpaca Jack's Suri auction. Marcus is a large framed male, weighing about 200 pounds, with solid bone and correct conformation. His ropey, dense, lustrous locks have carried him to the top of his classes in the show ring. Senior Judge Julio Sumar called Marcus a "champion of champions". This gentle giant is very easy to handle and a pleasure to work with. On our farm, we have Miracle as a representative of what Marcus has the capacity to produce. See her on our sales list. SPECIAL SURI DEAL Bella Vita Ranch has 11 suris remaining, and we saved the best for last! Buy all proven breeders for $12,000; that's less than $2000 each for the breeding stock and fiber males are free! Most of these are ribbon winners and champions or are offspring of champions. These were hand selected to continue our suri program on a smaller scale, but alas, we have come to the conclusion that we do not have the time or resources to continue both suri and huacaya programs at a level we are satisfied with. So, we are offering our remaining suris at deeply discounted prices to help get them into programs that will utilize their excellent genetics. These are proven, tried and true genetics that have created success for many alpaca farms, past and present.

Description

Tall and statuesque, Lucy Brown will draw you in with her large, dark, liquid eyes. She is sired by the true black Bolivian Black Magic out of the medium fawn Bolivian Aileen. Lucy has a regal appearance about her and has been a very attentive and protective mother, is an easy breeder with easy births and plenty of milk to support her crias. She has a level topline, straight legs, and long stretchy neck. Her dense fleece is locked with fairly good luster. She has passed color through to her crias and is the dam of medium brown Bella Sylvania (out of Silvestre) who graces the cover of the 2005 fall issue of Alpacas Magazine. That same photo from the magazine is our farm logo and can be seen on ARI advertising as the photo is owned by Alpacas Magazine. They have graciously allowed us to use it as our farm identifier. We were so happy with Sylvania that we bred Lucy back to Silvestre and got the exact same results the second time around in Bella Venezia. Venezia and Sylvania earned a blue ribbon in Produce of Dam for Lucy at the 2006 GWAS show. Capitano Luciano, a son out of Lucy and by Captain Morgan, is on our herdsire row with maroon, locked fleece that has dripped with luster from day one. Lucy is currently open, and we would be happy to breed her to your choice of Bella Vita herdsire with her purchase. We would suggest Epic or Marcus. Or you could try Pistol's Reload or Sparticus for a shot at a darker colored cria.
