A rare opportunity to purchase one of our foundation females who has been a major reason for our success. This lovely lady is the daughter of our senior dam, Cocoa Puffe. Chocolat has produced multiple champion offspring, and she herself has won blue ribbons at the level V GWAS and AOBA National shows. Her fleece has also won blue ribbons with comments about the minimum presence of guard hair from the judges who have awarded her blue ribbons. She is a proven dam, producing multiple black cria. She is a maternal sister to our 8x color champion herdsire, El Corazon`. A few examples of Chocolat's cria are true black Lady Raven (sold to Safe Haven Farm at auction), true black Mezzenotte (champion female purchased at auction by Red Granite Ranch), and Angelina, multichampion female purchased off the farm. Still on the farm is her 2014 female cria, Booja Booja, by Tuscan Black. Although Chocolat is 11, she is still very healthy and reproductively sound. She is bred to Voo Doo Magic for a July 2016 cria.

We are retiring, so Tuscan can be purchased with our breeding/show stock. See our package deal. Tuscan Gold has set a new standard of excellence. He is a complete package of perfect conformation, elite fleece characteristics with excellent bundling, brightness, crimp, and uniformity. The brightness of his fleece rivals suri luster. He has total coverage of this fleece from his spectacular head to his toes. And does he have presence! He just knows he is something special. When we check his sheared fleece in at the shows, it invariably gathers admirers and then further inquiry on which animal this fleece belongs to. This fleece has earned multiple championships and every specialty ribbon there is. He has maintained fineness well into his breeding years and is passing on this lasting fineness to his offspring. Tuscan stayed below 20 micron until he was 8 years of age when he was 20.0. And he passes this fineness on. For example, check out the histograms on sons Tuscan's Maestro, Tuscan's Semper Fi, Tuscan's Perfect Storm, all below 20 micron so far at 2 to 3 years of age. And uniformity is also in histogram mix. But a great herdsire is really measured by his offspring, and has Tuscan delivered! He stamps his babies with remarkable consistency for fine, well organized and crimpy fleece with his signature brightness on a beautifully balanced frame with good bone, extremely typey heads, complete leg coverage and his unmistakable presence. These babies have earned several Get of Sire awards for Tuscan Gold and several Breeders Best Three awards for Bella Vita Ranch. Our client list for Tuscan Gold offspring includes prestigious and discriminating farms such as Snowmass Alpacas, AL Pacas, Safe Haven Farm, Red Granite Ranch, Snow Diamond Alpacas and others. Judges have also bred to Tuscan Gold, so he has that stamp of approval from those who should know! Tuscan descends from the award winning MFI Brock line which has produced multiple champion Tuscan siblings. If you are looking to add presence, style, fabulous elite fleece with an incredible hand and extreme brightness, total body coverage, and great heads to your alpacas, Tuscan is your guy. Give us a call to discuss this great male who has proven his prepotency through his offspring. Not only is he improving fleece, but he is fixing conformation issues, hardest of the two to correct. If you like champion huacayas with that teddy bear-look and fabulous bright, fine fleece, that's what he delivers.

Description

SOLD!!! Congratulations to Amanda Pines Alpacas for the purchase of this stunning female! NEWS FLASH !!! - ANGELINA WINS BLUE AND RES. COLOR CHAMP AT AFCNA SHOW, WHITE FEMALE FLEECES!!! This is a beautiful young female from our premier dam line. Her dam is Bella Chocolat, our own GWAS and AOBA blue ribbon winning black female out of Cocoa Puffe, our #1 huacaya dam. Cocoa Puffe comes from Australian lines not common in the US, a bonus when looking for genetic diversity. Chocolat's first cria was a bay black female, Lady Raven, who was selected for and sold at the prestigious AOBA auction in 2007. Grandmother Cocoa Puffe also produced El Corazon`, our medium fawn, 18.5 micron, multi champion herdsire. Angelina and Corazon` also share the same sire, Haldane, a Hemingway son. We chose Haldane again as Angelina's sire to capture the fineness of fleece known to exist in Hemingway genetics through the life of the alpaca. Angelina has dense, bright white, well bundled fleece that shows dramatic crimp style uniform throughout. She has complete fleece coverage with long staple length, characteristics that are apparent in every alpaca of grandmother Cocoa Puffe?s line. Also consistent in the dam line are a calm, gentle demeanor, early maturity, easy breeding, birthing and abundant milk production. Angelina is well balanced, has good bone and correct bite. Add this little keeper to your program and smile all the way home as we usually keep offspring from the Cocoa Puffe line here at Bella Vita. Angelina comes with a breeding to our premier herdsire, Tuscan Gold. This is indeed a rare opportunity to add fabulous genetics from a proven champion producing dam line with a breeding to a proven champion producing herdsire line. Half brother (same sire) and cousin (through dam line) El Corazon' just won the blue ribbon and fawn male fleece RESERVE CHAMPIONSHIP at the 2008 AOBA National show. Descending from our premier dam line and bred to our top stud, Tuscan Gold, her price reflects a great value.
