RESERVE GRAND CHAMPION!! 3/8ths Accoyo!! From the breeding program of Amanda VandenBosch, Captain BlackFoot is a genetic stronghold. He has the famed Captain Morgan as his sire, and his dam, Samsara, is a beautiful Accoyo Ganador daughter. He is absolutely straight and correct in his conformation with excellent balance and exquisite very fine and lustrous mahogany colored locks with dark points. He has outstanding presence, a wooly face and amazing coverage. He is sure to add these qualities to your crias. Captain BlackFoot won Reserve Brown Grand Champion at the prestigious International Alpaca Odyssey and placed 4th in tough competition at the AOBA National. At 17 months, Captain BlackFoot was breeding. Early sire maturation means early daughter maturation! BlackFoot's first cria, Painted Black is AMAZING. He has it all...from his coal black color, extreme luster, great bone and correct conformation, and tight locks from his topknot to his toes. Blackfoot passes color (including true black), marvelous luster, well-formed flat locking, and excellent conformation to his many crias. Captain Blackfoot is now co-owned with Sonia Marygold of Tanglewood Suri Alpacas--check out her website and OpenHerd listing for more information about Blackfoot's crias. This just in: The Champion Dark Male Suri AND Reserve Champion Dark Male Suri at the 2014 SouthWestRegional Alpaca Show were BOTH sons of Captain Blackfoot! Way to go, Blackfoot! Blackfoot is co-owned with Tanglewood Suri Alpacas in Agua Dulce, Southern California. He is at Derwydd Alpacas in Esparto, CA but will be moving to Alpacas of Marin in the north San Francisco Bay area by the time of this breeding. Check out his other progeny at Tanglewood's website, or at: www.openherd.com/alpacas-for-sale/41000/fda-captain-blackfoot.

TAKE ADVANTAGE OF OUR INVENTORY CLEARANCE SALE FOR ABSURDLY LOW PRICES! WE HAVE WAY TOO MANY ALPACAS TO AGIST> BUY THIS GIRL FOR HER FABULOUS BLOODLINES AND HER FABULOUS BREEDING!! Sinchi Sumac means "Strong and Beautiful" in the Quechua language, and both describe this girl. She was standing at one minute of age, and at 5 minutes she had "walked" 100 feet! This is typical for offspring of her illustrious sire, Gianni of PVA, a dark fawn champion with Kobe, Uribe, and Mahogony Prince in his background. Her dam, Iris, is 1/2 Accoyo and brings color in her background as well. Sumac is a well-conformed girl with independant locking and luster. She will be an excellent production female and should cover color genetics well. Sinchi Sumac is rebreeding to AOBA champion and Buckey Champion/Judge's Choice, Saber's Red Storm Rising for a cria in 2013. Her first cria, Chan Chan, is a real knockout! Sinchi Sumac agists at Derwydd Alpacas in Northern California with Dale and Jan Davis.

Service Sire: SoCal's Curandero

8 FIRSTS + 3 CHAMPS!--BREEDING NOW!

SoCal's Curandero

SuriHerdsire (Male)Light Fawn
AOA# 31943482DOB: 3/20/201113 yrs
Curandero is so loaded with luster, he practically glows in the dark! He is a light fawn male with well-defined locking to the skin. The judge appreciate his "well-balanced" conformation and "solidity of lock"--also called "density". He has a striking presence with excellent bone and a level top line. His sire, Saber's Red Storm Rising, has taken several impressive championships, including a color championship at the AOBA National show, and Buckeye Champion and Judges' Choice. His dam, Anabellla's Chi, is one of our favorite foundation females. We are so proud of all his accomplishments, and now he is looking forward to a career as a herdsire! Curandero is a real winner--He took a blue ribbon at his first show (no championship class), then on to the International Alpaca Odyssey, where he had the HIGHEST score of ALL SURIS in the Cottage Fleece show AND he took Reserve Color Champion in the Cottage Halter competition. At his third show, the California Classic, he took 1st and Reserve Champion once again in full fleece halter--the judge loved his "balance" and elegant, angular conformation--not to mention his dense and lustrous fleece. At 2+ years, Curandero still cuts an elegant figure, with luster that glows in the barn! And he has settled his first female, and has her spitting! **Sellers would like to reserve 2 breedings to Curandero--drive buy or will cover agistment of female. We don't want to lose out on his genetics! Curandero has moved to Alpacas of Marin in coastal Marin County, in the North San Francisco Bay area of California. dHe has settled his first female and we await behavior testing on her. CURANDERO has been SOLD to Kelly and Anthony Fobia of Zen Gardens Alpacas! Congratulations, Kelly and Anthony--you have purchased a handsome, stylish, (sweet), and lustrous young man!

Description

We are so proud of our girl, Chan Chan. She's a product of our breeding program and a winner her first time out in the show ring! She has well-defined light brown locks that are dripping with luster--she gets that luster from our herdsire,IAO Champion Captain Blackfoot--he's a Captain Morgan son and the whole family is known for their luster! Her dam is a lovely gal with an impressive lineage--Accoyo Rising Son, Gianni of PVA, Uribe, and Kobe in her background. Chan Chan has lots of color genetics. You can see in the photos that her conformation and bone are very solid. We think she'll be an excellent addition to your breeding program. Chan Chan was bred to our Champion light fawn male, SoCal Curandero (who has been purchased by Zen Garden Alpacas--congratulations, Kelly and Anthony!). She quietly had a trouble-free delivery of a female cria in July, 2015. We LOVE this criaa! Anta Sumac (it means "beautiful copper in Quechua, the native tongue of the Inca), is a bright, lustrous COPPER-colored female with luminous locks and correct conformation. This cria does not sell with Chan Chan, but she does come with a breeding, and it's a "no brainer" to go with Curandero's magnificent sire, Saber's Red Storm Rising. This guy has won numerous level 5 championships and Judge's choice awards. He is a bright copper brown with a long, elegant frame that will complement Chan Chan's sturdy conformation, and he has award-winning offspring of all colors. Chan Chan has made the move to Alpacas of Marin in the North San Francisco Bay area.
