Steele Magnolia is the offspring of our best true black female, Peaceful Valley Grace, and the undisputable powerhouse of grey genetics, Aussie Rockford. Maggie is an absolutely stunning silver grey girl. Her pedigree is a phenomenal combination of black and grey genetics perfectly balanced with Accoyo/Peruvian bloodlines from Yupanqui, Felix, and Guellermo. Maggie's dam, Grace, is a Michelangelo daughter who displays an elegance and presence that is captivating. Grace's award winning history at halter and fleece always placed her at the top of her class. Maggie's sire, Aussie Rockford, is a 1/2 Accoyo silver grey proving himself a prepotent male with an enviable record of over 90% grey or black offspring from a variety of dam colors. He is a national award winning male whose show career highlights included 1st place at 2000 CABA, Estes Park, and Sun City Sizzle, 2nd at AOBA nationals; and 1st place at 2001 AOBA nationals at halter and fleece, EVAA fleece and Alpaca Adventure fleece shows. Maggie is a beautiful medium silver grey with many positive attributes. She possesses perfect conformation, excellent fleece coverage and character, with an endearing personality that makes her standout from the herd. Maggies's show record is impressive, and she consistently receives judges comments as a "full package" female. 2005 her "accomplishment year" with 2nd and Reserve Champion Female at the Heart of the Valley, 2nd at Alpacapalooza, and 1st and Champion Grey Female at the level V AWE. She is a cornerstone foundation female. Her first cria a bay black male sired by Crescent Moon's Kryptonite standing stud at Sleeping Monk Farm in New Hampshire, and her second cria, Cadence, sired by SA Peruvian Black Epic, is a striking true black female who looks as stunning as her first. '08 produced a silver male out of Victor's Julius, and '09 a dark rose grey Rincon Cloud Daughter, Brooklyn Roads, who was Reserve Color Champion at 2011 Level IV CABA and now firmly settled into our foundation herd. Her '11 edition is another female, bay black Abbey Road. Abbey is a stunning After Hours Daughter, and a Reserve Color Champion as well. She is rebred to Rincon Cloud for hopefully a repeat performance of Brooklyn Roads.

It's Official ...... "NeverSummer's American Iron" ..... bringing Aussie .38 Special bloodlines back to Stonyridge for the 2015 breeding season! .38 Special has been sold to East Coast breeders, so when the opportunity to host this quality son came along, we jumped. Thank you to owners Dale Davis of Derwydd Alpacas, and Dee Souza of La Dee Da Alpacas for trusting us with your boy. This is his third summer here, and his first crop of cria for us hit the ground last year. They are stunning! Get your reservation early, so you don't miss out on this limited opportunity. American Iron will arrive Mid June and be here through October 2015. Yes, he has the requisite successful run in the show ring, but more importantly this male has the power in his pedigree that tips the scales in his favor for reproducing his awesome phenotype, and desirable conformation and fleece characteristics. 3 year histogram = 22.3/ 4.4/ 19.6 with a spin fineness of 21.7. Iron is full brother to the high-selling alpaca at the 2011 Futurity Auction! "NeverSummer's Chautauqua" Iron's pedigree is packed: Hemingway, Victor, Royal Fawn, 5Peruvian Royal Incan Legend, Lanark's Silver Charm, Peruvian Aladdin ....... and let's not forget Hannaruh. Experienced breeders know the value in stacking a pedigree with proven and repeatable genetics, and American Iron brings that to the breeding pen. He is exactly the type of male to compliment any quality grey breeding program. Such a stunning young male - super heavy bone, outstanding presence, macho head ("Best Head" award winner at the 2011 International Alpaca Odyssey!) and a calm disposition. Get into his silky, fine, bright, LONG fiber and it melts away to the touch. Its one of those fleeces that just gets better with age. Iron is sired by the incomparable grey herdsire, Aussie .38 Special. As he ages, .38 Special just keeps getting better. He is a two-time Judges' Choice winner, including Judges' Choice Fleece at the 2010 AOBA Nationals (4th fleece!).

Description

Thank you to Sleeping Monk Farm Alpacas and Stonewall Fields Alpacas for your purchase of this striking Rincon Cloud daughter. I know she will make us proud in your breeding program. Wow was all I could say when Maggie delivered her Rincon Daughter. This young lady is gorgeous with an awesome head, and her sire's size of bone & extreme fiber coverage. We named her Brooklyn Roads, and she is going to be one to watch. Her fleece is a yummy espresso brown which is maturing to that deep taupey rose grey, very bright, with uniform micron & character, and excellent density. Maggie's kids are always among our best, and Brooklyn appears to be no exception. She has that "look at me" presence, and is always camera ready. Brooklyn hit the show road in 2010 with a bang, drawing rave reviews from judges and other breeders. In the words of AlpacaMania judge Ken Hibbits, "This female has perfect conformation, and moves with elegance and free moving gait. She has a true to type head, and overall balance and perfect proportion." Her deep dark rose grey fleece keeps the color checkers challenged, but we know with the solid grey/black pedigree of Rincon and Steele Magnolia, Brooklyn will be a stellar addition in the grey breeding arena. Brooklyn's spring appearance at the level IV CABA Classic brought lots of attention, and spectacular results. Placing first in her yearling full fleece halter class, she turned many heads, and snagged the Reserve Grey Female Color Championship to add to her awards list. She took it all in stride, with style and grace to make her dam line proud.
