RIP 9/11/2019, due to complications from arthritis and pain medication. He was regal to his last day. Breeders describe their Constantino line as their very best...PRODUCERS!!! 15 years ago the judges called him the "future of the industry" and they were right. In 2016 two of his juvie sons, Bonafide (LB) and Travelin' Man (BB), earned 1st FFH in very competitive classes. Tino's show career lasted 5 years and he successfully competed with the best in the country. His fleece stats for fineness and weight from 12+ years ago are on par with today's show winners. Tino's fleece took four years to increase one point for Standard Deviation...on a hig plain of nutrition. Tino's 19m /17 CV super dense cria fleece never collected debris; 9 - 10 crimps per inch in '03 and '04. Shearing Tino's first two fleeces was difficult. They were so dense, fine and slick that his skin got pulled into the blades several times. JUDGE'S 2004 Halter Champion COMMENTS: "FUTURE OF THE INDUSTRY", "consistently the finest of his competitors, outstanding fleece character & handle", "extremely fine and dense for his age" (AWE 05, Krieger, 33 mos.), "largest testicles, strength and structure, ability to move out freely, correct proportions and a well-conditioned fleece." Superb phenotype; even temperament; strong libido/early maturation; heavy lactation too! Tino placed in halter and fleece, above award-winning sons of both Accoyo Royal Fawn and Accoyo Legacy...two record high-selling herdsires, Running Late and others. OFFSPRING AWARDS (Not a complete list): Summer Ember (BB) - 4x champion, CC 7th fleece! Daughter by Deacon Grey- CC fleece. Gray daughter Elphi RC at The Futurity. What can you say about Antonina, she births fabulous babies. I believe Toni has another baby or two in her; she keeps a good body score year-round even after while nursing. Antonina is a delightful bay black female. Her confidence is evident as she carries herself across the pasture. She exhibits nice crimp in her fleece and tremendous luster for a black alpaca. Antonina is a great mom and takes care in knowing where her cria is at all times. We chose to breed her to StudMaster K-2 for a Spring 2007 cria - the result is K-2's Fidalgo IslandBliss. He looks to be every bit as fabulous as his siblings. Antonina is the mother of Ribbon of Darq, who sold at AOA's 2005 America's Choice Auction for $42,000. Her son Fuego del Norte is a True Black who has fabulous fleece with wonderful luster and handle. He now sports several ribbons: Color Champion, 2 First Place, 2 Second Place. His crias will start hitting the ground in July 2008. Antonina has graced us with a beautiful white female out of our white stud; we are thrilled to announce the birth of Phobos' Phoebe of IslandBliss, born June 9, 2008-another fabulous pairing. Constantino's Mariska was Toni's 2009 girl...she is amazing, too. Antonina was held open due to farm space constraints, but comes with a breeding as well as a breed-back.

Do you want a strong history of winners???...RYDER has it!!!! Do you want color AND Caligula bloodlines???...RYDER has it!!!!! Do you want GREY???...Ryder can do it!!!! Do you want to breed to a COLOR CHAMPION and Multiple BLUE ribbon winner???...RYDER is IT!!!!!! Look no further, come and check out Ryder and you will agree, this boy has everything you want to pass along to your next generation of crias. Beautiful, Bright and BLACK crimp from skin to bundled tips. Soft and buttery handle when you work your hands into his fleece. A stylish head, perfect conformation and excellent presence. A Color Champion himself and also hailing from a line of Color Champions including his sire, Maple Brook Sapphire and his paternal Grandsire, Brittany's Desparado, who is a multiple Blue ribbon winner and Get of Sire winner at the Big E in 2002! Plus his Dam's side which includes the legendary Caligula! Take a look at Ryder's histogram and note that ***these numbers reflect his fiber stats at 9 YEARS of age!*** Though many of the cria that Ryder has sired at Pronkin' Pastures are lighter in color, make no mistake, he can and does throw black! We have very few black females in our herd and chosen to breed him to many of our lighter colored girls. Interested in seeing more of Ryder's fantastic offspring? Take a look at his offspring record on Alpacas of Alagaesia's 'sold' listing page. In the interest of keeping genetic diversity in our herd, we will consider breed trades and lease options. Contact us for details. Ryder has been a great asset to our herd and think he can add value to yours too!

Description

Sweet Mariska came to us as a maiden from Island Bliss Alpacas and we couldn't be happier to have her! She has now delivered 3 crias - medium fawn LadyBug in 2014 (sired by SCF Black Ryder), light fawn Alonzo in 2015 (sired by Camilio's X-Man) and now a part of our herdsire lineup, and most recently true black Cole (sired by SCF Black Ryder). Mariska seems to be putting her stamp on her crias. Though they are all different in color, they all have stunning heads (including black 'eyeliner'!) and gorgeous fiber. Mariska is an attentive mom with abundant milk. She has delivered easily and without assistance. She is currently bred to Sweet Pines Model T, a handsome black male that we think will be a great match for Mariska.
